The food is great but I feel bad for the servers, they literally have to bus 6-8 tables at once and we waited awhile for our second and third round of meat and appetizers by then we were full off of rice . I give the servers a 4/5 for there hard work, but the service and wait time for food was ridiculous. Also requested to be sat somewhere else because I wanted to keep my distance but they said that there were no servers for the tables we requested but 5 minutes later another party sat where we wanted to sit. They sit you next to people who are within arms length.

Gen korean is so hit or miss service wise. They hire a certain demographic and some of the workers are not cut out for food service. However the upside of Gen is the food which is the most important part. I would recommend getting the brisket because it is equally fatty and meaty at the same time. The location is pretty good but the parking can get to be very crowded because there are multiple stores around the area. Great food group gatherings and the price is not bad as well. All you can eat barbecue so make sure you come with an excellent appetite

Came here with some friends to get some Korean BBQ. There is ample parking, so you don't have to worry about the parking situation at all. For some reason, I feel like they only give nicer cuts of meat for the first few rounds, and then the rounds after, they give really bad ones after. Other than that, the atmosphere was nice, and it's a nice place to just eat all the korean bbq you can eat with some friends and just have a nice time. In the end, Gen is pretty alright, the meat quality suffers after the first few rounds, but aside from that, the place is alright. So do with that what you will.

We went there around 7:00-7:30 on 12/11/21 and the place was completely closed, lights off and doors locked.... People do yourselfs a favor and don't go... It shows open online and is not true

Decent, good price. All you can eat at lunch is half the cost. Cheap soju too. This restaraunt can have long lines at lunch and Friday/Saturday night.

Took my friend here to his first KBBQ and we had a blast! I wish I remembered the name of who was helping our table because he was amazing and made the experience more fun. All the meats were delicious and the grill changes were quick, didnt even need to ask!

This place is insanely delicious and me and my family always come to either this location or fremont location. Our service is always great, last time we were here Fernando was our server, he did an amazing job. Recently we went again and were being served by Sam, she said she was from another location and she came to help out here. She was nice at first, but more into our experience she became very rude. There was 2 times that my husband was still talking to her & she just walked away. We knew she was busy so we tried not to ask for her unless we really needed something, but no matter how busy you are it is EXTREMELY rude to walk away from someone who is still talking to you. Furthermore, we had ordered a meat before that we had forgotten the name so we described it to her and she said "I think its the beef brisket" so we ordered it. She later came to drop it off and it wasn't meat we had last time, so we told her it wasn't it but that we would still eat it, SHE DIDNT SAY ANYTHING, BUT SLAMMED THE PLATE ON TOP OF MY BOWL OF SALAD THAT I WAS STILL EATING. That was the last straw, me & my husband were so EMBARRASSED, because it was our friend's first time there and we always raved to them of how great the food and service was. My husband immediately went and told the manager what happened and that we wanted another server. The manager told him, "that does not sound like "MY" sam", Then said that everyone was busy. 10 minutes later he ended up getting us a new server, very sweet guy unfortunately I can't remember his name, but he definitely changed our experience. I can't lie the food is awesome, but you experience neglect from both server and manager you can't even enjoy how great the food is. Unfortunately, we have to now drive farther out to Fremont just for a better experience.

Went here to celebrate my little brothers birthday, It was 3 adults 2 kids and my 10 month old baby. They were bringing us the wrong items all night, management would just walk away from us while we were talking to them. And they charged me for my 10 month old. I looked up the pricing and they said they charge by height they start charging when a child is 4ft there is no way my 10 month old was 4ft. I couldn’t even speak to management because they were no where to be found.

Horrible service. My brother came up from Southern Cal to visit me and I wanted to treat him to a nice meal so I thought Gen Z would be a perfect place... We were seated next to the table of workers that were on their break and right outside the kitchen breezeway. None of them noticed that we weren't getting service but the other waiters that were not on break, were bringing them their food and not us. It took 30 minutes to get WATER (forget about getting it refilled), our burner was dirty and the waiter handed ME the kitchen towel to clean up the gunk left over from the previous customer... what a nightmare! Don't even get me started about the curtain they had separating the dining room from the kitchen... food heading to the tables of customers and dirty dishes were touching the same curtain . That is a health code violation of I ever saw one.
