I love their all mozzarella corn dog, however, I would not get it with ramen. I want to come back to try it with potato. But it is expensive for what I am getting but again its America and also INFLATION!!! I love their YUBU KIMBAP, which is the one with the tofu skin. Their regular kimbap is okay. I do wanna try their kimchi fried rice though. This place is mid, but for a quick snack, I would personally go!!

Came here on a Tuesday afternoon and it wasn't crowded it at all. They only have 3 seats outside so the place is small. There isn't any indoor seating as it's an order at the counter and take it with you. They have hot and cold items you can grab on the side or just order at the counter as some of them take a few minutes to order. I went with the kimchi fried rice, kimbap, and the fried corn dog with cheese. The fried corn dog had a bit of sugar on there and was filled with cheese. It was good but not great. The kimbap was dry and flavorless while the kimchi fried rice was actually pretty good. The egg was cooked perfectly and had some chicken inside. Overall, the food was decent but for sure pricey. 4 items cost around $40 total. I would probably not come back but it was worth a try.

I came here on my lunch break to get a Korean corn dog, and while it was okay, for the price, it wasn't the best Korean corn dog I've had. The outside potatoes were more like cut up french fries and they got a little too crispy when they got fried, It was missing the sugar on the outside and the dipping sauce selection was also pretty mediocre: ketchup, wasabi mayo or honey mustard. I wouldn't say no if someone else wanted to go here but I don't think I would go back on my own.

Jang Su Jang Next Door is in the Calaveras Plaza Shopping Center. They may be a bit busy in this plaza, but there is plenty of parking in the lot. They sell a variety of rice hot dogs, mochi donuts, and a variety of Korean foods/snacks. I tried their Stacked - Sausage and Mozzarella Cheese one. The outer part had a bit too much batter and was a bit too doughy, but other than that, the rice hot dog tasted great with ketchup. The Boonguhbang (taiyaki fish pastry) and Squid Ink Batter - Sausage and Mozzarella Cheese Hot Dog looked intriguing and yummy as well.

This was my first time trying a Korean rice hot dog. I order all mozzarella, no sugar, with potato crust. With my hot dog, I get to choose one sauce. I chose wasabi mayo. I thought the batter was a little too think. Besides the initial cheese pull, majority of my hot dog was fried dough. Without the sauce, there wasn't much flavor to it. In terms of the crust, all I tasted was a crunchy exterior. I barely tasted any "potato" flavor. Next time I'm close by, I do want to try the Taiyaki fish pastry.

I wanted to try their Korean corn dogs but didn't have room after lunch so I decided on a kim bap to go. For $10, it was great value and flavorful. Would definitely get again. My friend also got the red bean fish waffles, which we're also delicious! They definitely don't skip on the red beans and it's not too sweet (the ultimate Asian compliment). I look forward to coming back and trying their corn dogs one day!

Stopped by this shop for dessert. They have Korean hot dogs with potatoes, Mochi donuts, and made to order taiyaki filled with Nutella, red bean, cheese or Oreos. We got the Nutella, red bean, and Oreo. The Oreo is a single Oreo. The red bean has whole beans in the paste. The dough was crispy and chewy, maybe a bit of Mochi inside?. 5 for $10, well priced and made fresh. These are the full sized taiyaki - 4" across. (Not the mini ones). This is the Jang su Jang "next door" store which is around the corner from Jang su Jang. There's a couple of outdoor tables to eat

I love this little (but mighty!) local Korean cafe. It is the "express" version of their full Korean BBQ restaurant next door -- get it? They have a wide and meticulously prepared selection of ready-to-go selections from the self-serve fridge (kimbap and spicy pickled cucumbers are my go-to) and hot dishes like soup, along with the ever-more-trendy Korean-style corn dogs in a variety of creative formations. Their store is extremely tidy, clean, and the staff and owner are very friendly. I always am glad when I have the chance to stop in to pick up a quick, delicious meal. There is no indoor seating, but there are a couple of tables on the side patio in the shade. For what they are trying to achieve, they get five stars.

I've been to this plaza in several occasions and never knew this place was here. It's pretty tiny but now I know what the buzz is all about when it comes to the doughnuts . I went pretty late in the day so I only tried the lychee and match flavors. Will return soon to try the other flavors.

Kimbap was good! Full of stuff. We got a free Korean hotdog because they made a mistake on our order :') I wouldn't say this place has the best Korean hotdogs, but it's a great place for some Korean snacks/eats!! I want to try their ddeokbokki and premade side dishes next time :)

Really frustrated because I've came here multiple times and they're ALWAYS closed. I don't actually think I've ever seen this place open. Yelp and Apple Maps says they are open but when I arrive, of course they are closed. They should put some effort into updating their hours so customers aren't mislead and have their time wasted.

I got very bad food poisoning for an entire week right after eating their prepared kimbap

Loved how their Mochi donuts are warm, fluffy, and perfectly chewy! I've had cold Mochi donuts before and warm ones really hit different. I've had their kimbap in the past and thought they were just ok (honestly was kinda cold and similar to hmart kimbap). Will definitely be back for the mochi donuts though! Also, it seems like there is a table for outdoor seating but it's more of a grab and go kinda place.
