This place used to have really good Vietnamese sandwiches but the quality has definitely gone downhill and their prices went up. I ordered two Banh Mi Dac Biet at $10.75 to go with separate veggies on the side and this was what I got. There was no head cheese, had big chunks of ham instead of thin slices, and bread was stale.

Beware!!,Misleading prices . Menu price $8.50 in black marker( barely can see). Checkout price $10.50. Lady say no time to update prices on menu, there like 15 items on the menu, how long does it take to write new price? Not even sure if that's legal to charge more than price on menu.

The mini sandwiches are the ones you want to get. They have a buttery like topping in them. My go to banh mi is the one with the cold cuts and pate. I only order sandwiches from here because it's close to work. My biggest pet peeve is the price of their online ordering. Don't do it! Just call and place a phone order. I absolutely refuse to order online even if it's convenient. Call me cheap but $11 for a banh mi? I would never!

My favorite banh mi spot in Milpitas. These sandwiches are hearty and full of fresh ingredients. The staff is polite and efficient. Definitely would recommend the grilled pork! The bread is the best and made fresh.

Good Vietnamese sandwiches for a good price. You have the option of choosing a mini size or regular size. Regular size is a pretty large sized sandwich. Regular sandwiches range from $7-$9 depending on what kind of eat you choose. Customer service was great when I went. The bread is crunchy which I like ne they put a lot of toppings in the sandwiches.

Very bad customer service. We waited for a long time and the person finally took our order. The priced we got charged is 20% more than what was showing on the menu. They did not adjust the price so it was very misleading for the customers. We ordered anyways cuz we already wasted 15-20 mins waiting for them to take our order. Taste was mediocre.

I was on the fence about stopping by Le Moulin based on the mixed reviews, but I'm always on the hunt for new bánh mì places and decided to roll the dice. They weren't busy at 1pm on a Sunday, but had a steady stream of customers coming in and out. In addition to 15 types of bánh mì, they also had Vietnamese desserts (chè) available. I loved that they had an option for ordering a mini bánh mì in addition to the regular size, but the price of a mini was $5 (way over 50% of the price for a regular size). Although there was no line when I initially placed my order, it took at least 10 minutes before my order was ready. I ended up trying: -#4. Grilled Pork (Regular/$7.75, Pretty good, but lots of lemongrass flavor, and borderline salty. I really liked their baguette bread though, which was slightly buttery, and soft on the inside but crunchy on the outside. -#6. Grilled Beef (Regular/$8.50, Ok- the beef was really salty, and soy sauce/salt flavor overpowered everything else aside from the lemongrass. The baguette was still delicious. Both bánh mì needed more pickled vegetables and mayo (even though I had requested extra mayo, it seemed like there was barely any). I might come back to give their combination bánh mì a try, but only if I was in the area. There was a plexiglass barrier separating their staff from the customers, but the staff weren't wearing masks (post mandate). They had hand sanitizer, but no indoor or outdoor seating was available. There were tables set up outside, but I believe they were for Vung Tau customers only. Parking in this plaza can get crazy busy during weekends, but some parking spots should be available.

I got played this last time. I go here almost weekly and buy multiple sandwiches. Today, I got 7 #1. That’s their deluxe w head cheese and meatloaf. The sandwiches had ham. Not headcheese. Biting into your favorite sandwich only to be greeted w salty ham. Not cool. If you’re not going to be able to make a proper Bahn Mi as stated on your menu, let your customer know.

It's so sad that they say they open at 10am and everything how will you want customer to wait 30 min and not open on time it's so sad i don't know why this restaurant is even open to be honest. If they can't put their customers first. Very upsetting.

Nothing special and little filling. I just felt it was overpriced for what you get. Most of it was bread. And pickles and one slice of ham. Felt I could've made it at home

Not sure why there's only a 3.5 star average here, but the banh mi's are super solid! Ordered the #4 during a weekday lunch- the bread was super fresh, crisp on the outside and soft inside. The grilled pork was perfectly marinated and cooked, still tender enough. Sandwich was ready within minutes. I accidentally tipped $5 on a $7.50 sandwich (butterfingers) and the cashier (owner?) immediately offered to give me the difference back. Excited for this find and will be back soon.

Being new to the Frepitas area I needed to find a spot for Banh Mi that measured up to KE in San Jose. Fresh rolls and veggies, flavorful grilled pork , good portion control, and neatly wrapped. This spot has all the above and then some! First, it's a Viet sando shop with French music jammin out on the speakers. Nice touch! Keeps with the connection the two countries have. It also meshes well with the wall art and ambiance. Small, local shop catering good eats and better vibes. Check! Next, the service was really quick for a lunch hour visit. Wifey and I walked in and out with our order in 7 minutes. 2 #4's and a Vietnamese Milk Coffee. The person who took our order was efficient and welcoming. It's a definite go to for us!! Go see them.

I like their #1. The Banh mi is nice and crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The ingredients are also fresh.
