Great service great value. One of the few mom-n-pop family run diner. Busy for weekend brunch. Chicken and Waffles are amazing and the mimosa size just makes me smile-20oz

Mil's Diner has been serving the community for years. It is located in the Milpitas Center, next to O'Reilly Auto Store and Goodwill. Retro decor, vintage pictures, booth style seats, and counter seating available. The service is very friendly and attentive. Better from the years, when we first visited. When they have time, they actually stop and chat with their customers. Something you don't see nowadays. Anthony, the owner, is very friendly and personable! I ordered the Corned Beef Hash and Eggs. You have a choice of your style and choice of toast, English muffin, or pancake. I got my eggs poached and a pancake. The portion size was generous. The pancake had some good mass to it - very filling.

My favorite brunch place. Diamond in the rough. Food is amazing and well priced. Everyone is friendly. Looks like a traditional American brunch restaurant with large booths and bar seats.

Chicken and waffles are delicious and its always hard to choose between the country breakfast Biscuts and Gravey with patty sausage. So happy to be in the neighborhood and can call this my local diner. But if your out of the area its really worth the drive.

One of the worst experiences that we had with our toddler. He turns 2 today, saw good reviews for kids, decided to drive 20 mins to come here! Were greeted with strange expressions right on arrival, ignored it! For some reason our server was in bad mood, we wanted to order and get baby food first as he’d not eaten was hungry, we were given cold stares , pls wait we’re coming to you - I made up half a mind to leave right away, but didn’t, she came to take order and made faces on asking (do you have oat milk for coffee) regular questions - maybe they’re accustomed to people ordering their usuals! Requested to get baby food early- came after 25 minutes, after multiple inquiries. I was almost out of patience and asked the server if she is having a good morning, and if not we wouldn’t mind getting a different server- she said she was trying to make her morning work! She went to the lady behind the counter and they chatted pointing in our direction- I usually don’t take all this and usual is get in, dine, have a good a time and leave, but suddenly they made it toxic, the lady on the counter and almost threw the check on our table while asking for coffee! I called after her, didn’t get any answers! We paid and started leaving, I was out of the door , when my wife her them shouting oh my god! Looking at our table(, my toddler had made a little mess on her plate, to be honest), horrible horrible experience! Those who enjoy here, pls keep doing so, I’ll ask the new diners to take the positives with a pinch of salt especially if you don’t look like the owners/staff !

I rarely give 5 stars, but Mil's definitely deserves it! We ended up being a party of about 20, and we were accommodated with great service, excellent food, and big proportions. The cooks did an amazing job getting our food out in good timing and pretty much all together. We all walked away very happy! Thank you Terri and you awesome crew!

Good portions and friendly servers. Fast even on a busy Saturday morning. Place need updating especially the carpeting (lots of stains) and some of their booths are pretty old.

I have lived in Milpitas for 3 1/2 years now, and only recently 'discovered' this hidden gem right at the end of the street I live on!!! Their menu is varied enough to have a great selection, but not so much that it's overwhelming. The minute you enter their diner, you're greeted with a warm Good Morning or Good Afternoon! The staff is very attentive and friendly; we felt like members of the family from our first visit! The food is priced fairly, which is hard to say about almost any other restaurant I've been in lately, and, it is delicious! There you have it...Welcoming, friendly staff, great menu selection, delicious food, priced fairly. A recipe for success, obviously since they've been there for over 20 years! Try it, you will not be disappointed!

Met here for a breakfast with family from out of town. There was a bit of a wait which we expected for a Saturday morning, but they went above and beyond and brought out chairs for my parents to sit in to wait. Absolutely wonderful food and very friendly staff! Don't see that much anymore, very pleasantly surprised!

Best California Eggs Benedict West of the Mississippi! This diner is a Milpitas staple and gives 'Luke's Diner' vibes when I'm getting coffee refills (this is a reference from the unforgettable show Gilmore Girls). I'd rate this place a 5/5 if it weren't for the older decor and if they opted for higher quality ingredients. This place is a classic!

This is a long overdue review. This is THE place to go for honest breakfast/lunch comfort food. The family loves coming here, and we never leave disappointed. We've also ordered to-go, and it tastes just as good when you bring it home :) I could sing the praises for all the dishes we've tried, but I'll pick 2. Their buttermilk pancakes are buttery and consistently delicious. And their award-winning chicken & waffles are still my favorite chicken & waffles from anywhere, and I've had my fair share. There are fancier breakfast/brunch spots where you could go to impress your company, but if you want to impress your tastebuds and stomach and heart, don't waste your time at other places and just go to Mil's! :)
