This is my first time visiting and trying Taiwanese food. I fairly impress with the vegetarian style noodles and chicken wings. I did absolutely love the chicken wings, rest flavor profile. The service and atmosphere was excellent, it was during work time and we completely forgot the work because it was that good.

I love this place! If I could eat the taiwanese hot pot everyday I would ? If you go during lunch time they usually have free tea with your pot and the green tea is soooo good. the other thing to note is that if you’re a stinky tofu fan, it’s definitely not authentic but it is decent.

Green tea is delicious. Other varieties can be sweet for those that enjoy that. Food is very decent. It is my first time, so I can't judge harshly. Restrooms need improvement.

The stinky tofu hot pot served here comes with added Sha Cha sauce, but the broth tastes a bit plain therefore the ingredients lack flavor. The portion size per serving is a bit small, but the staff can help you with extra soup. There are plenty of seats available when we visited during dinner hours. Access to the menu through QRcode on the table. Pay check at the counter.

The "halal" options on their menu is misleading. I had one of the halal hot pots from the menu but later got to know that they call it halal only because there was no pork ingredients. The beef, lamb is as usual. If you maintain halal food consumption, please be aware.Btw, their seafood pot with seafood broth is not bad.

It's cold and cold, eating hot pot here is really fun. There are quite a lot of choices and there are some big sizes for sharing too. I chose number 1, which seems to be the most favorite, containing sliced beef, tofu, white mustard greens and several other types. If the sauce is not enough, you can ask for more. It's more delicious dipped in sauce, there is delicious satay sauce too.

It was my first time going to this restaurant and we got our seats pretty quickly. We ordered the beef hot soup, Sichuan flavor hot soup, and popcorn chicken. The size of a small spot was good enough for one person, and it was like a small hotpot with the vegetables and thinly sliced meat along with fish balls all cooked together. The food was good and the price was reasonable.

The hall is not big, and so are the seats. You can settle down and choose your preferences. The dishes and meats come with sauces. It’s warm on a day after the rain.

Food, service and atmosphere all 5 stars, but I find the price to be too high. I appreciate that the tea is free and that they can make the food very spicy, and overall the experience was very good.

My coworkers and I were craving hot pot, so we stopped by Tasty Pot. Boy, this place was popping during lunch hour. However, we were the second in line, so we only waited about 15 minutes. We were given a free cup of sweet tea (green or black) upon entering. You scan a QR code to make your order online, but it just wouldn't work on my phone so I had to order on my coworkers phone. Please allow an option of ordering without a QR code. What's good about ordering is you can customize your order to omit ingredients you dislike or have allergies to. I omitted seafood from my beef hot pot.I am not really sure why the hot pot taste was not to my liking - some of the ingredients and the broth did not seem like they blended well together, like the large chunks of taro. At least now I know what to omit when I customize it in the future, and maybe I should order a different broth. I was also still hungry after. The service was very good - the employees were kind and kept checking in. I wanted to take my free tea to go and they sealed my drink and provided me a straw. The price was not bad per hot pot but it would have been better if the portion was larger to fill me up.

Tasty Pot has been my go-to hot pot location for years, although I had only been to San Diego locations before. My friend and I visited on a Friday around 1pm. Although there was a line stretching outside the door, the line moved relatively quickly and we waited for about 15 minutes only. You place your order by scanning a QR code on the table and listing your requested adjustments, as well as requesting vermicelli vs rice. I ordered a beef hot soup with medium spice ($18.50) and the green tea for the lunch special. I also used the Yelp check-in for another free drink. Overall, the food was excellent. The beef hot soup itself was much deeper than I initially thought, although it was filled with more cabbage than I would have personally liked. The dipping sauces were all delicious, and my favorites were the garlic soy and soybean. The green tea was strong and complemented the beef hot soup well. Though Tasty Pot's gotten significantly more expensive over the years, I still think that it's worth getting every once in a while, although I would only go at lunch when it's cheaper and comes with tea.
