I went to redeem milk tea as a birthday gift at the weekend. I told the clerk that I wanted sugar-free milk tea, but when I got home and drank it, it contained sugar! Fortunately, it doesn’t hurt to throw away the free milk tea. Many beverage shops have opened nearby, and Tianren is becoming less and less competitive.

My go to tea shop when I am in Milpitas . They have a huge menu with great selection of teas . You can buy tea leaves here . My favorite is High Mountain oolong , which have good aroma and floral taste and the black milk tea, but everhthing I've tried here is great.

My all-time favorite place for boba is at Ten Ren! DrinkTen Ren Black Milk Tea Ten Ren Jasmine Green Milk Tea ToppingsBoba Grass JellyThe Ten Ren Black Milk Tea and Ten Ren Jasmine Green Milk Tea are my all-time favorite drinks to order when I come here. The Black Milk Tea is creamier and has a thicker consistency. The Jasmine Green Tea has a strong Jasmine tea profile and less thick. Ten Ren makes their own grass jelly where you can taste how fresh it is. Parking Shared parking lot with other businesses; it can be packed at times to find a close parking space near the entrance. Customer Service Always warmly greeted by the staff and you earn points for every drink purchased. Ambiance Small tea shop with no seats to grab your drinks to-go. The staff is quite quick about making orders and are efficient when it's busy.

Black Milk Tea w/ Pearls ($5.50 w/ cash)My preference for milk tea is for ones with stronger tea flavor (TP Tea Tie Guan is my #1). So when I tried this place, I was really disappointed. The tea tasted pretty watery to me and I couldn't really pick up on the tea flavor. The boba had pretty decent texture but was similarly bland in flavor.Giving some points since the store interior itself is pretty cool if you like browsing tea leaves.

One of the best boba spots I've been to. My favorite part is browsing through the types of tea that they have on their shelves and staring at their giant teapot. Whenever I walk into Tenren, it genuinely gives me the same vibe as walking into one of those old chinese teahouses. As for the service, they are quick to take your order. Drinking their green milk tea hits different compared to other boba spots due to the strong and unique taste in it. Since I tend to drink green milk tea a lot, this is my #1 favorite green milk tea.

One of the OG tea places to come to the Bay Area years and years ago. Good tea and good quality tea and non-tea drinks. Good service and friendly. The ambiance and charm of this old- school tea shop where you can sit down to experience and appreciate the tea before you buy it.

Very disappointed. Lots of hype from Yelp but I went today and honestly thought the drinks were just okay. But what made it worse? Was the poor service from the young lady. She seemed very disgruntled and just didn't want to be there. Very curt answers.

My favorite milk tea/boba place in the Bay Area. The prices of their drinks haven't risen like other chains, their tea is of high quality, and the staff make drinks in the fastest time. While there isn't much seating room inside, one can quickly order and grab and go. The staff speak Mandarin, Cantonese, and English and one can either name the drinks or provide a number, and they incredibly know which number matches each drink. My favorite drink here is the Osmanthus Oolong Milk Tea with pearls; however, any milk teas from here taste delicious!

Really cool tea shop with a huge variety of tea and tea drinks. I ordered a regular black milk tea with no pearls (number 1 on the menu) and it was one of the best black milks teas I've ever had. A bit on the sweet side, though, so next time I am going to request maybe 50% sugar.I wouldn't get the matcha here, though. My boyfriend got a matcha milk tea (94 I think on the new additions menu) and it tasted just like normal jasmine green tea. It didn't taste like matcha at all (and I've had a LOT of matcha in my life and make it at home). I'm not sure if they messed the order up or what but it definitely was NOT matcha. I would go to a place that specializes in matcha if you want matcha milk tea.I will definitely be back to try their other drinks, though. I heard their roasted oolong milk tea is very good, so I plan to try that next. Their prices are also very affordable compared to other tea places in the area. Looking forward to returning! : )

So good it changed my perspective on milk tea. My friends have had so many different TenRens around the world and this is the best one. Period. Wow.

The bubble tea is always fantastic from here. If you love a stronger milk tea, this is definitely the place to visit. We love both the black milk tea as well as the green milk tea. We have never been disappointed with the boba here. The texture is always perfectly chewy. We always visit when we're in the area.

jasmine green milk tea ($4.50)stopped by on a really hot day - wanting something iced and refreshing! nothing beats a strong tea flavor based milk tea with really great consistency/QQ of boba. if you're in the area definitely stop by. unfortunately, theres no indoor dining/seating area but there are benches near by! the service of the staff members are down to earth and work well together creating a quick turnaround workflow. the ambiance is super casual and perfect everyone of any age!tips:- lots of parking available- perfect spot for anybody of any age- lots of options available- card minimum is required so cash might be better!
