Absolute worst cake I've EVER seen in my life. What a way to ruin a celebration, French's!! After 22 years of going here, this experience was beyond unacceptable for any bakery or business!! I called to order a birthday cake. Said I wanted three houses, gave the colors. The worker woman started arguing with me that they needed a picture. I said I've been coming here for over 20 years, they are very good bakers and artists. Just three houses to represent an agent's birthday. I said "they can be how the baker wants, a square and rectangle makes a house, right. It's not hard. Just any three houses, up to them. I'm sure they will do a great job. Add a sun too. And green ribbon piping." Well this woman would not stop arguing, talking on top of me, arguing so much I was struggling to even understand what she was saying. Finally I said, "You're ruining the celebration!!!" So I asked for someone else. Got another gal who finished the order. And this is what I got for a cake! Not kidding!! Beyond unprofessional! Argues relentlessly with customers and then gives a product a two year old could draw better!! This place should be out of business. 22 year customer and I'm treated like that. Look at even the piping!! Who does that. This place is now mismanaged and full of incompetency!! Complete unprofessionalism, terribly argumentative staff...and people who are hell bent on ruining celebrations!! They can't even call themselves a bakery!! On top of that we paid $73 for this piece of crap cake!! Oh and on top of that, the manager/owner isn't even reachable except via email! If I could give them zero stars, I would! Complete incompetency. Don't let them ruin your celebration! A wedding for sure don't go here. Don't trust them to ANY special occasion in your life, ever!! There's not even anyone in charge or managing the place. Just complete and utter incompetency!! And by the way, we threw the cake out. It was full of preservatives that gave us all a headache after one piece!

Custom cake was nice. It was not dry and tasted good. Bakery made the cupcakes to match the design of cake as well.

My coworkers bought me a cake from French's for my birthday. They had forgotten it was my birthday lol so they bought the cake that same day. The cake looked pretty, but it was a bit dry and not as great tasting as I'd expect. I was surprised since I had heard great things about French's. There were only a few of us who ate a piece so there was 3/4 cake left which I took home to my family. Later that evening, I went to cut a small piece for my husband and the whole cake totally collapsed in half and fell apart. My hubs and I both tried saving it but it was a goner, it just became a major mess so we had to dump the whole thing. Honestly, we weren't that disappointed since I wasn't a fan of the cake in the first place but thanks for making me clean up your major mess of a cake on my birthday, French's.

Hands down the best local bakery around. I have purchased custom cakes, breakfast sweets and desserts here and they just can't be beat. Not cheap, but you get what you pay for. Get there early for the best selection. Service is excellent.PS I should have taken a picture of the lemon bars and cupcakes we recently purchased, took to a friend's house, and devoured later in the evening. Sorry!

My family have gotten birthday cakes and wagon wheels from Frenchs for decades. It’s not a French bakery. French is a name associated with the family. We love them and look forward to getting cakes and wagon wheels from them in the future.

This is an okay bakery. I like Ralphs and Staterbrothers better and they are much more affordable. The customer service leaves much to be desired.
DELICIOUS!!! I definitely recommend. Fresh fruit and the taste was amazing very friendly customer service.

reviews4.1I was 1/2 mile from the store, and I called because they were closing and I needed to pick up the cake I ordered for Easter. The girl said they were closing in 5 minutes, and were shutting down the register. I told her I was 3 minutes and she said they couldn't wait.I asked for the manager's name and was told she wasn't there.I said I wanted to call her and she was very flippant. No worries was all I got and she hung up.Horrible Customer Experience. I can't say service because there wasn't any.

Visiting from out of town but was looking for a chocolate cake. I came across this bakery by accident but so glad I did! Very yummy cake, while it was a chocolate cake it was not as sweet as I thought it would be. The chocolate mousse was so good and the cake was not dry. The price was very reasonable and please note I added the decorations.

Please read!I do not recommend this bakery for any custom cake orders. This bakery has now ruined 2 very special occasion cakes. Their decorators did not follow the manager's instructions on the orders. The cakes were frosted in the wrong colors completely. One cake was for a baby shower and was to be frosted in colors for a girl. They frosted it all in baby blue! The second cake was supposed to be ombre pinks and when I picked it up it was white and cream! What a complete disappointment this bakery has been!!!!Please do not order your custom cakes from this bakery!
