Best croissant I EVER ate! I know...you think "It's a croissant. How good can it be?" Crispy but not crunchy on the outside and tender pillowy inside. We also tried the sticky bun. Delicious and huge. Get one to share. And the porkstrami scone. Tasty and not dry. I will be making special trips just for the croissants! I'm ruined for any others now. (lol)

Was in modedto for work and my client took me to the Bakeshop for some sweets & EVERYTHING WAS ON POINT! The Bakeshop has a warm welcoming county chic vibe inside. The chocolate chip cookies are huge, soft & toasted just right! The original cheesecake was creamy with the perfect crumbly crust. When the caramel monkey bread was gone I was so sad! And the zesty lemon bread oh had a generous layer of thick icing. If youre in the area & have a quick sec to pop in DO IT!

I had to wait 30 mins to enter children's museum so I went here. I ordered a cold brew with vanilla syrup. I also tried their chocolate chip cookie and chocolate cookie. They were great. My second time I tried the lemon poppyseed scone and my son got a croissant. Will be back to try something new next time.

A great place to come in on a Saturday morning and treat myself to a yummy treat. Everything I have tried has been delicious. The Cinnamon Roll and the Sticky Bun are two of my favorites. Great place to catch up with friends. The atmosphere is comfortable and welcoming. Highly recommend.

We ordered a smore cookie, red velvet, and lemonade. My husband thought the lemonade cookie was pretty good, not too sweet, I agreed with my red velvet, and my son absolutely loved his smore cookie. A little pricey for me at about $4 per cookie, but they were nice, and the shop is beautiful.

The crossiants and pastries were good. We came by and got a plain croissant, ham & cheese croissant, cruffins, porkstrami scone, and bread pudding. I think I spent over $30 for all those items. Good croissant, but not worth the hefty $6. Then again, I'm used to the competition in larger cities where prices are more reasonable.

This place is nice. The pastries are great but it is very pricey for what it is. I got three pastries and a basic coffee and total came to $30 plus $1 fee for card. I understand some places use great ingredients and all but still. I could go to any restaurant within walking distance from here and get a full meal for the same price.

Such a cute bakery in Downtown Modesto! Loved the decor. This is a great place to come and get some studying or work done. The seating area is pretty big so there are plenty of seats to choose from. We came to try their cruffin, but they sold out unfortunately. Tried their monkey bread and salted caramel bread pudding. Both paired well with a nice hot cup of coffee. Service was super friendly and we were given plenty of recommendations. Will be back soon to try their cruffin!!

This coffee is delicious! The decor is very similar to something you would find in San Francisco or a big city! The staff were very nice! This is definitely on my list of morning coffee spots!
