The server didn't pay us any attention didn't bring our drinks didn't bring our food and basically ignored us for our entire experience, except for bringing a check.

Went in for dinner with the family, and celebrate our teenager's birthday. We were seated and got service in a timely manner despite it being super busy at the moment. Getting checked on very straight forward service,and the patience to accommodate us was highly appreciated. Mandy did a wonderful job waiting on us and made our dinner experience great. Took my oldest daughter out to eat for lunch at BJs accross from vintage faire mall in Modesto. Atmosphere was great, it has a very modern look and at first sight looks like a nice place to eat. I also liked how it wasn’t busy yet, so they seated each party far apart so that you feel like you have a bit more privacy during your meal. We were greeted and seated right away however the person seated us at a dirty table and just effortlessly brushed the crumbs with one swipe of the back of her hand witch did nothing, the crumbs were still there and the table clearly had not been cleaned yet. She walked away and did not come back so we cleaned the table ourselves. Then we noticed the nasty hand smears and splashes of food all over the side wall of the booth and dirty food splashes in the main isle which looked like something has slashed on the floor and it had sat there long enough to collect some dark dirt and dry up. It all gave a very dirty feeling to the environment. This unsanitary vibe was again confirmed when I found a dark, thick, course hair inside my filly cheesesteak sandwich. Unfortunately I had already eaten almost 1/2 the sandwich before noticing the hair inside the bun at the end. It ruined my appetite for the rest of the sandwich. I did not complain about it, as I don’t like doing that in public and figured I’d just give the rest of the sandwich to my dogs. The waiter who took our orders was great. He came back often to refill our drinks and to check if we needed anything. However by the time we needed the check and carry out boxes, he was no where to be found. Other waitresses and waiters walked by and looked at us several times but said nothing. I thought maybe he went on his lunch break. Eventually 30 minutes later another waitress comes up to us and asks if we need anything. I said we would like the check and a carry out bag but I’m not sure where our waiter went. She said oh I’m sorry, he had to leave, he didn’t tell you before he left? I said no he didn’t, we’ve just been waiting here for him to give us the check. I would say they both dropped the ball on that one. He should have let his tables know he was leaving and another waitress would be over shortly. The other waitress should have let us know she would be taking over and asked if we needed anything, not waited 30 minutes to approach our table. She was very nice and offered to give the pazookie we ordered to us for free for the inconvenience. Overall the food tasted great despite the hair and the service was friendly but the lack of cleanliness of the environment and the unsanitary hair in my food just killed it for me. I can’t find myself going back there.Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly, there were plenty of little handprints of smeared food on the wooden wall next to the booths, proving its kid friendly.

Had a great time going. It's always this BJs we choose to go to. We usually sit in the bar area and are always well taken care of. This most recent time, we had Gina V as our server, and she was amazing.I got the cali club with fries and it didn't disappoint. We always order the strawberry shortcake pizookie too. I also recommend the strawberry fields chicken salad. All the beers on tap are great and we always try out their seasonal beers as well and are never disappointed.

Still mine and my husbands favorite lunchtime restaurant. Jen is consistent with her friendly service and welcoming attitude, even after nine years!! Great food, amazing service! Still Love it!!!BJ’s is our hang out because our server Jen is a great server and treats us amazing. The food is great, but the service is amazing! She is always friendly and we get treated with genuine care! Thanks Jen!!!Vegetarian options: Great variety of vegetarian food options!

CAFE_ Ramenz

Me and my family came in for dinner and our waiter, Brandon, was amazing. We did have an incident though. The kitchen rushed and made my father’s burger very over done and it looked like a hockey puck, we showed brandon and he was completely embarrassed and got it sorted very quickly. At the end of the night Brandon tried talking to the managers about comping our deserts and burger and they said that they would only comp my fathers burger. Brandon talked to us after he gave us the check and said that he paid out of his own pocket for me and my family’s deserts and drinks because the management wouldn’t and he felt that it wouldn’t be right. Me and my family were then very unhappy with the managers Marco and David that refused to comp our deserts for the literal hockey puck of a burger. Brandon was just trying to make things right and make sure that we will come back to this specific restaurant again in the future since he is one of the faces of this restaurant and he doesn’t want this restaurant to have a bad rep. Thank you Brandon for the amazing service and we are deeply sorry that you had to pay out of your own pocket because of your managements mistake. We have a very sour taste in our mouth because of David and Marco, but because of Brandon and his kindness we will be coming back just to be sat in his section.
