Warm whiskey and not so cold beer. Service wasn't so good and we were even sitting at the bar and it wasn't even busy on a weekday afternoon. My mom ordered a margarita and it was absolutely horrible. Needless to say we won't ever be back.

The restaurant is nice. I ordered ribs, fries and Mac and cheese with garlic bread. Ribs was the driest ribs I ever had. Mac and cheese was meh. Fries were fine. The cost was 30 bucks so I had to finish it although I was not satisfied. They don’t Brisket so that sucks. I’m only in town for work but I’m from Texas so my standards are pretty high so I think that’s important to note

Friendly hostess & server. Decent environment. Chicken and pulled pork was dry. Tri tip was good. No mashed potatoes. - At a BBQ house???? - that's not right.

I find it interesting that you have to tip the wait staff and pay first. Anyways good food and nice staff

So I placed a very large order for office lunch. Over $250. Everybody got a variety of something different. This is prior to Covid.. not worth the price, food is small portions when feeding 15 guys. I spent a lot of $. Guys said not great. Service was horrible for ordering prior to arrival. Slow,& unorganized.

Let me just say I am glad I didn't get the CHANCE to eat the food here. Extremely disappointed with my experience. I entered the establishment and was greeted with the singular interaction I would experience throughout my 25 minute visit; the hostess explained that I could seat myself at any of the raised (higher up) tables and that the bar tender would then make contact and take it from there; I had zero interaction with staff from then on. After waiting 15 minutes without a single staff member checking on me - I made it a point to see how little attention I would receive after about 15 minutes so I decided to stick around. To my amazement, what appeared to be the floor manager came around and interacted with the table directly next to me (not of minority appearance) and completely bypassed me without even saying hello; I was extremely disappointed by this as I thought he only stepped out realizing nobody had greeted me yet. Long story short, I sat and waited 15-20 minister seating myself with the actively tending bartender never greeting me let alone serving me a water/tending to silverware or utensils. It is fair to note I am of strong minority appearance, the singular distinctive characteristic i seemed to be able to establish. Nonetheless, my experience here was far from great, I will leave my comment here and let you garner what you will, from it.

I grabbed the tri tip burger and my husband the pulled pork sandwich and for what the price was, they were so incredibly dry and bland that my heart literally broke. Best thing about this place are the waitresses tbh.

This used to be a family favorite for us , I understand with the service Industry things may be different now .....but the owners changed and apparently (so did the name of the business not sure to what ) the food quality and portion size has gone way down hill. For 20.00 a meat plate with two sides I was disappointed. Not to mention the grilled veggies were cold , and it included two asparagus one bell pepper slice and one zucchini slice .

This is no longer Buchhorns. It is called Fire and Brew. The service was great. Staff very friendly. My Tri tip dinner was good. Their version of mac and cheese is awesome and so are the beans. Here's why only 3 stars. It still has the Buckhorn sign on the building. We were walking around looking for Fire and Brew. Almost gave up and went to BJ's Brewery but the third time walking past the entrance my bf saw a sign sitting inside this place about 5 ft inside door. My bf had the French dip, fries and a side salad. My bf did not enjoy the French dip. The meat was very dry and tough. The french fries were ok but not note worthy. I didn't even take a pic of them. I'd go back for the Tri tip but bf said he wasn't interested enough to go back. He is not a tri tip fan.
