How about opening up on time. Third time they were not open on time. This place is a joke. Sub par food and they can't open on time to prepare it. Not sure who is in charge, but they are not paying attention.

So... food does take a minute, not going to lie... however this place is IT! We have been several times with our family of x6. Everyone always chooses something different because they have an abundance of options! Personally my hubby and I share the Philly cheese, and add on a side of the cali fries(not sure what they are called, it's basically fries loaded with a burger patty and toppings ) highly recommend. Shakes are super good, would be hoo of you to try

Obviously, no one from the EHD (Environmental Health Department) in Modesto has visited "Cali Burger" at all, for if they had, this filthy, disgusting restaurant would be immediately shut down. I went there for the first time today and was so stunned by the amount of filth I took pictures; Windows covered in dust and water spots, un-swept/mopped floors, and at the register, two filthy point of sale terminals and dried, sticky soda on the counter. There's a black "Cali Burger" rug on the floor that is so covered in dust it looks grey. You can SAFELY assume that if the Cali Burger owners don't understand the importance of a clean dining are, they also don't understand the importance of a clean kitchen, or the importance of properly stored, refrigerated, handled and cooked food. You can also assume they know nothing about location, as they opened "Cali Burger" about 100 yards away from a wildly successful In & Out Burger. Never again.

The place looks dull when you pull in. There was no one in the front when my family and I walked in. The food was very tasty, sad to see the fresh lemonade go ?.

This place sticks out from the average parking lot around it ! My partner and I decided to stop and try it, being big fans of charbroiled burgers. (When you know what to look for as a charbroil fan, this place has it all!) The food was DELICIOUS - and cooked to order, so yes it did take about 20 minutes to get to us, but that was fine by us. You can't rush good burgers. The lobby was clean , so I'm assuming the owners have seen previous reviews and have since changed their ways. This restaurant is definitely on my list of choices for dinner from now on!

I stopped in for a quick breakfast. I enjoyed the bacon breakfast burrito with seasoned fries and a soft drink. I have heard good things from others and I look for to trying other items on the menu. The young man behind the counter was polite and was prompt in getting my order out to me.

Place is pretty good, but the last time I was here they only had 1 person working both the counter *and* the grill while the place was pretty busy. Felt bad for the dude, and it took a while to be served. Hire some more staff so you don't have one guy completely overwhelmed, damn.

My favorite go to place in Modesto. Their fish filet is delish!! I tried the crispy chicken wrap and the Jalepeno poppers and now I don’t know which one I like more!!!? Check them out for yourself!

their burgers ? are tasty good and good size portion ? but their fries are pre-seasoned already so for me it was kind of salty, next time I'll go here I'll try their frozen treats ?update: I tried their Philly cheese steak and it was super delicious ? worth it

Burgers tasted fine. They are wrapped so tight in paper that half ingredients are squished out and left in wraper. Slow service. I was told 12 mins. I arrived at store in 10 mins and contuned to wait 15 more mins to get order.. An employ was spraying cleaner above food prep area and wiping it down. The employeeWho was cleaning came down ladder and 5 seconds later comes out and handsMe my order missing theCyclone. NEVER AGAIN.Very poor service and poor cleaning practices .
