The food was delicious ?. The service was rad! The wine selection was very good. The Cream Sauce Ravioli was amazing. The White Wine and Butter Shrimp was superb. Make sure to get the bread to soak up the sauces!!!!! I am kicking myself for waiting so long to try Concetta ? A+++

Last Thursday, a friend and I stopped at Concetta before going to the last performance of Resurrection at The State. We were seated immediately. We hadn't been paying attention to the time, and were surprised to find that it was only a half hour to showtime. What to do? Our server suggested that we go ahead, and come back for dessert after, and we trotted off. Amazing movie. When we returned, it was about 8:30 and we could still order full menu. So we did, and everything, as usual, was beyond expectation. Uniquely prepared dishes, small and large. We agreed on four small ones, and were over the moon. Our server was marvelous, the food was incomparable, and there ensued a relaxed (movie critic) chat that spilled over into life in general. That's the way things are at Concetta. Here's to Paul, a star in the restaurateur galaxy. This place rules. The staff rules. The food rules. And may I say, the bar rules, broad selection with backup. "We don't have that." and "We're out." are against house policy, apparently. Excellent bathrooms. Looking forward to the time the this great place opens for lunch again. Mimi

Very fun date night with the hubby. The halibut was amazing, but the slaw with it wasn't really our thing. We tried quite a few dishes, and most were really good. The "prawns" in garlic butter was fantastic, but more like shrimp in a garlic butter sauce. Believe it or not, the wedge salad was beyond tasty, and a must do. Overall a good meal, but there was only one waitress and another lady who helped with water and setting up service for the table. There seems to be a storage issue as the pathway to the bathroom, which is in the dining room is lined with boxes. Apparently wine, and it takes away from the ambiance they are trying for. With a few minimal adjustments, they could easily be 5 stars.

The service is excellent and the menu thoughtful and delicious. Great for causal or semi-formal dining.

Fresh local, organic food. Small plate options. Never disappoints. There is something for everyone. My family LOVES IT! Brussel sprouts, quesadilla of the day, Mediterranean tuna, chili shrimp, pork & polenta, pizza, shrimp deviled eggs, salad of the day, you name it, I like it! Nice staff, casual setting, perfect for when you don't know what you want to eat. Eat everything!

Decent food but small plates. My challenge with Concetta is I feel like I have to order lots of plates to get enough food... Especially if you're sharing plates with others.

This is definitely my favorite place in Modesto. The wine changes very often so you have something for every pallette. My son is a picky eater but loves the ravioli here. The menu is Tappas style and also changes frequently. The Brussels sprouts and goodies salad are a must.

I’ve been eating at Concetta for over a decade. It is a fantastic meal. The menu changes daily with new dishes rotated in all the time. Sharing is the key here, order multiple items and share them. The plates really aren’t meant to be entrees. The inspiration for the food ranges widely from Italian to French to Spanish to Thai to American. Concetta has the best wine list in Modesto and a “full” bar (they have a small bar space so they might not have your favorite vodka or gin, but they’ll have a good one) If you fret over portion and price, Chili’s is open. Fine dining isn’t for everyone, especially folks who don’t understand the cost of operating a restaurant where the food isn’t steamed from frozen pouches.

Tapas and Friendly Service at this local favorite. Our favorite dishes are Deviled eggs, Goodies salad, Beet salad, Brussel sprouts, Raviolis, Cheese or Butternut, Pork scallopini and Lamb meatballs. We've never had a bad meal here, and the wine list and beer options are extensive.

This is our go-to place in Modesto for small plates. Always excellently prepared, and served by friendly staff. On our last visit however, we make a mistake in ordering the pizza. It is usually great, but the end product this time was less than we wanted. But everything else was excellent. The mixed greens salad was fresh and tasty. Wine by the glass is always good.
