Jumpin' jambalaya! We love Huck's (AKA Huckleberry's)! This is Louisiana/Cajun style food. I say "style" because it is pretty "Americanized" or not as spicy as the real thing. However, I still really like it. In case you did not know: a lot of the Perkos in the area are being converted to Huckleberry's. They are owned by the same company. The only downside is that Huck's menu is not as vast as Perkos, and the hours are a lot shorter. Huck's closes at 3:00 pm. I posted a few photos. I love the special breakfasts that come with two fried green tomatoes! I had never tried a fried green tomato before. I love them at Huckleberry's! With their spicy ranch. The breakfast special is usually a bananas foster French toast. I like it a lot, I believe it comes with eggs (cooked to order), and bacon. Absolutely love that they will deep fry my bacon, and not microwave it like some restaurants do when you ask for crispy bacon. I love the gumbo too. We used to be able to substitute soup instead of fries, when we order the chicken strip meal. Now their register won't allow it. If you want soup it is separate, and not too cheap either. It was a better deal as a substitute. Or even if they had an add-on. That is one of my favorite dishes is a bowl of the gumbo soup! It has rice, tomatoes, okra, andouille sausage, chicken, and an extra helping of yum!! (Seriously good) It isn't spicy at all, which I like. My guys would like it to have a bit more kick. Their customer service is good too. The manager and the waitstaff are very friendly. Now, I'm wishing I was at Huckleberry's! I hear my stomach growling! Lol! Until next time...

I haven't had THIS GREAT OF SERVICE in a long time at a restaurant. Seated in seconds, food came out really quick and everything was delicious! All of the staff were very hospitable! Drink refills, clearing plates, bringing extra things, just checking on you period. Great Great Great service. Clean restaurant with a pretty cool look inside. Lighting is dimmed a little to match the theme. Will be coming back here for sure!

The food is excellent!!! The service is 100% good. The ambiance is great! They do have a nice small gift shop that they have. I do wish that they had a bigger mug than a regular mug. I wonder do they have syrup with sugar-free and jam with sugar-free.

The food here was excellent. Most of the staff were great too except for the lady that seated us. She put us at a booth and when we asked if we could get one of the many empty tables instead she said absolutely not just for the waitress to come along and ask us if we were happy where we were sitting or if we would like a table instead. The same girl did the same thing to the next 2 groups that came in. I dont know if she was confused or just being rude but the service I got from our waitress far overshadowed the 1 wierd lady. I will definitely go there again.

Today (March 22, 2024) I ordered the Louisiana Catfish, Bayou Style, from the menu. It was served on a bed of jambalaya and topped with a mix of sauteed mushrooms, fresh tomatoes, and green onions. It was a delicious comforting meal that also included a couple of pieces of lightly toasted and buttered bread, and a bowl of salad. The salad was full of fresh ingredients: a variety of lettuce, chopped pieces of cucumber and tomato, and a bit of shredded carrot. The blue cheese dressing was very good as well. I was impressed with the place! The wait staff was great and available to the customers, and the decor was that of a tricked-out bait shop in Louisiana Bayou country. It was a very nice dining experience. We shall return!

The service is good staff top notch. The food is good I have been there dozens of times and have never had a problem that wasn't handled with professionalism and speed. If your looking for a good breakfast in a light atmosphere this is the place.

Service was disgusting. I ordered Beignets to try them out for the first time, and I bit into one of these little round balls, and it was completely filled with oil. ?They're they're omelets are, I don't know, maybe a three. And I don't believe it was the Omelette I ordered. My friend and I went to have breakfast there and her omelette was twice the size of mine plus my omelette was cold and the waitress argued with me because I challenged the size of the omelette. Plus when we were leaving the manager overcharged to me and I caught it and then the cooks were coming out and giving me dirty looks. I thought it was hysterical at the time. But also very sad because I really wanted to enjoy going to a hucklebees. Haven't been back to one since then. 4 years ago.

Food is not good, pretty bland and unseasoned. Clientele is pretty unseasoned also. Would recommend going to black bear diner or ihop or something. The huckle berry lemonade was the best thing.
