Be careful when buying some of the vegan sandwiches. The meat substitutes they use are either extremely salty or had this weird fridge-burned taste like they were almost spoiled or something. We ordered a turkey bacon sub and a roast beef with tons of onions and peppers. I forget the names of the sandwiches since they name them after famous people, but they were both perfect and hit the spot!! The vegan sloppy joe tasted very weird though and we had to throw it out. That was a rare miss for this deli they are usually very good and iv'e been coming here since they opened. The service was so slow here, my god we ordered through the app a solid THIRTY minutes before arriving and we still had to wait another quarter hour! It wasn't even lunch hour, of course they might've gotten busy but this franchise always has slow service so maybe the owner should hire an extra person to help move orders along? Just a suggestion. I really like this deli and I'm still coming back but not if I'm in a hurry!!

Best deli in Modesto. Ikes was a San Francisco institution in 2008, then word got out and they quickly expanded all over NoCal. Delicious bread, fresh toppings and unrivaled vegan/vegetarian options. Service with a smile; good people work here. Love this place!
Ike's never disappoints if you are looking for a quality sandwich. Always fresh ingredients and fresh bread! Every sandwich I've tried is delicious. I'd recommend this place to anyone!

Ordered a spiffy tiffy over the phone but was given a turkey sandwich…………For those who don’t know, the spiffy has halal chicken, pesto, mushrooms, pepper jack and provolone… it does not have turkey….The turkey sandwich I got was dismal to say the least. There was also barely any meat, lol subway gives more than this for less the price.Such a shame, I’m a true Ike’s fan from when I lived in the bay and the experience at this location is just not giving…….. Hope this review helps fix that.

Had my first Ike's experience. Great service. Great food. Great staff. Had the Matt Cain on a Dutch roll. The sauce made the sandwich. Definitely recommend this spot for your sandwich needs.

When i entered I asked for a menu. I was told to look at the wall by the gentleman behind the counter. I did. It seemed very limited and the sandwich my spouse wanted wasn't listed. So, i went to the stores website. Low and behold many many many more sandwiches. So o went to the counter and asked the man “so thats all your sandwiches ? “. “ Yes!” I then asked what about all the others on your stores website? He told me “they are made at other stores but he could make them here if I wanted.” I said yes I wanted x and y.I just think for the price they command they could train their people to properly merchandize and go through their offerings. Personally, I found being told to look at the wall rude. The fact that is was not a complete list of offerings made it worse.Food? Ok. Just. Would I go back for their service? No. Would I go back for the food? Probably not. Maybe only because they are open a bit later then other places — so then I would be forced to go back. Come to think of it…. Nope, note even then. I have some hot dogs in the freezer.Atmosphere? LOUD. A refrigeration unit is so loud it is annoying. But - besides the homeless man going up to tables (in the view of the man at the counter) asking for money —there is little else to mention.

This location is stellar! I forgot to bring more cash and the (manager?)/an employee compensated one of our sandwich, which was super super kind!! It made my day and made our whole experience so much more pleasant. The sandwiches were also great, I had the panther and my partner had the Rueben. 10/10!!

good place lol idk why I can't just post how many stars I rate the place. Why I gotta also comment a minimum of 85 characters in order to also post my star rating for the place. It's kinda silly lol but whatever ig. The place is dope tho. They got amazing sandos and the best thing they got are the Dutch crunches, fried and halal ckn and the honey mustard. Idk those items can't ever go wrong in a sando from there. And the lettuce and their avocados are always fresh nd just perf. Can't rlly score on all that at a lot of places nowadays idk why id say all their veggies t fresh but I don't rly know that I only always order with lettuce nd avo and ICan advocate for that.. anyways. If ur thinking about it, do it. Go order. Downside: ducking EXPENSIVE. Ugh but huge sandwiches
