Dora made me a great margarita! Then surprised me with a peach margarita on my 2nd round and it was amazing!! Service was great! She had a smile that helped me have a better day! I had to get a tire fixed and enjoyed the much needed drink food and atmosphere!
Service was awful & took forever to bring our food & when brought out our plates he dropped my fork on the floor n picked up n put it on my table n walked away quickly before I can even say a word, had to wait a few minutes to even dig in for him to pass me to stop him n ask for a new one . Also, After paying our tab we had 20 something in change & waiter never came back with our change & ignored us while we tried getting his attention & never got that $$ back. But other than that I'm Not sure about there service on other days but this day was slow & no where near crowded yet still managed to bring us both cold plates n hard rice.

We discovered Javi’s in Oakdale when we were coming home from Angels Camp. It was fabulous! We live in Manteca and went to Javi’s in Modesto. The restaurant is immaculate, the staff is incredible and the food is the best Mexican food I’ve ever had! I grew up in the Bay Area and was disappointed when we moved to Manteca at the lack of good Mexican food. Tonight I had the scallops in creama and the layers and depth of flavor were so delicious. It is well worth the drive and I recommend Javi’s highly. Just hope they will consider opening a restaurant in Manteca. I think it would be a huge hit!
Ok... 1st I love this place, and I understand that a lot of "things" have changed when it comes to this segment of business. That being said..... $4.75 for a soda is NUTS... If you have 4 kiddos and 2 parents your out $28.50 before you even order your food!! Just a heads up.

Another five star lunch. Great attentive service and food. Very Mexican atmosphere. Had flan for dessert yummy.
