Very rude service/gaslighting. When ordering I asked "is this spicy or mild?" Waiter 1 says: it's mild, don't worry. Food arrives and its super spicy and I choke on it. Waiter #1- looks awkwardly at us and slowly shuffles away. Waiter #2 says- all Mexican food is spicy, so what did you expect?! Manager comes over and says- it's not spicy, it is mild. I say to Waiter #2 that not all Mexican food is spicy and start naming multiple restaurants. In fact I have eaten at theirs before and last time it was not hot. I say to manager- it is spicy, these people next to me say they ordered it too BECAUSE it is spicy and they LOVE spicy food. In fact today it has some extra kick to it. Manager tells us over and over in a rude tone that it's mild and we should just eat our mild food. They did not lie to us, it is mild and we are lying. Now I wasn't expecting them to remove the meal from my bill... just an apology would have been nice. Like sorry you found your food to be spicy, we didn't realize so many customers consider this dish to be spicy since we think of it as mild. That's what SHOULD have happened and like they could have offered to let me order something else other than sitting there trying to dunk all the meat in a glass of water to "wash off the spice" and slowly eat it anyway while chugging on my soda and Waiter #2 laughing at us and talking shit every time he walks by.

I am always impressed with the attentive service and cleanliness. Last time I came in, the hostess was sanitizing the menus!! The restrooms are always clean, too. The food is consistently delicious and reasonably priced. Love it!

Extremely dry. Chevys is more Mexican than this place. Got street tacos tortilla was dry the meat dry and not good quality. (Pizzadilla is a menu item) . Bf got carnitas. Flavor not

NEVER AGAIN! Not only was the food VERY small portions and you get charged for extra chips and salsa but when we left the the waitress ran out to our car and said we owed 20 more dollars. I new I left the right amount of money so I went in and she said she was checking the cameras. She came back and said she only saw one 20 so the manager was going to look. He said he only saw one 20. I explained that I just got my toes done and paid with a 100 dollar bill. After paying 30 dollars for my toes, I was left with three 20's and gave them two. After waiting for 15 to 20 min. A girl comes running in to tell me she found my 20 next to the bar. I didn't sit at the bar but it makes me wonder if my waitress, whom I never saw again after she accused me, maybe she hid this 20. I'll never go back here!! Funny how they all said they watched the cameras

My son likes this place, for me it's just okay. I had better enchiladas and taco here in Modesto. The server was friendly and attentive and the place is clean. We will come here again for sure because of my son.

We come here 3-4 times a week. All of a sudden! the manager ask my husband if he needs anything, he say more salsa please and she said I have to charge you... I asked the people next to us and they didn't get charged for extra salsa. it's because we are white. We won't be back. Just when we were becoming regulars...
