first and last time I will ever go. Ordered lunch to go when I opened it. It was literally six pieces of chicken and a bunch of steam rice. Yes, I was hungry after that. The service was not good. She took my money and didn't even ask me to wait another couple of minutes. I just stood there, and when my food is ready, she just gave it to me.

I was pleasantly surprised,as the facility, food, and staff were all worth this star rating. Went for lunch what a wonderful value. In my opinion, it is an old school style of Chinese cooking preparation with a restaurant ambiance to match. What I have grown up on. Nothing fancy, but great tasting food with a clean setting.

Very very good food and friendly service! The only problem is that they close too early and I was forced to go to nasty potsticker place...don't go there! Come here!

Gave this place a first try tonight, and we did not regret it! Best pork fried rice I have had in our area! Mongolian beef was delicious, as was the sweet and sour chicken. Service was wonderful! Clean and quiet place to enjoy our dinner. Will definitely be back.

Ordered their egg flower soup for takeout, it was pretty good. Standard little Chinese restaurant with good front desk service, nothing fancy or extraordinary.

Always good food. Fast service. Limited seating. My go to Chinese when in Modesto. Mushu is outstanding. Asked if they had honey walnut shrimp, was told yes and there were no walnuts but still great shrimp.

The food is decent. The staff is very nice. The hot and sour soup is odd and I didn't care for it at all. It had a tomato base, which I thought was weird. The wonton soup is really good and the beef with snow peas is really good.

This place has definitely become our little family's place to go for Chinese take out craving. They have great food (with the exception of their sweet and sour chicken/pork). The price is reasonable and affordable. Price: $$ Quality: A+ Service: A

All in all the service was okay, young girl working the counter was kind of running around alot and trying her best. Location was pretty quiet and not alot of people other than the takeouts. Visited around 5:30 pm and it wasnt too busy but there was alot of takeout orders waiting. Wait was 30 minutes so we walked around and inspected nearby shops, not alot of stuff in this area. Overall food was alright. Probably mid tier. Chicken was chewy but alittle dry. Noodles were decent but lacked taste, mongolian chicken was spicy which was nice for the flavour. They gave us a ton of fortune cookies and soy sauce.

We ordered take out-house fried rice, egg foo yung, and sweet and sour pork. The rice and egg foo yung were just OK. Thesweet and sour pork was complete fat. We're from the Bay Area, and it's been hard as heck trying to find good Chinese food out this way. We'll give it another try, but we are still looking...

We went for a late lunch/early dinner. The food was delicious & hot! I had broccoli beef with chow mein. My husband had spicy braised chicken & it was spicy & crispy. 10/10 will go back if we're in that area of Modesto again. $60 for 4 adults, the servings were big. Sorry. No pic. I was hungry.

We used to come here when it was Ocean Palace and it was so good. The Owner knew us and would take our youngest to get her apple shaped bottle of apple juice from the fridge. Then they retired and new people took over. I was not impressed then and that was over 10 years ago. We had since went to Dynasty for about 8 years and then all of a sudden the food changed. We have not had real Chinese food for about a year. I have been craving it and did my research and saw that this place had good reviews. The chow-mein had no flavor. The sweet and sour chicken was stringy. Thr hot and sour soup was just hot. The egg rolls looked like they had mash potatoes in it. Unfortunately we will not be going back.
