They must have changed owners recently because the food quality has dropped noticeably. The falafel was dry, gritty and disappointing. The grape leaves were the best the last time we got them about six years ago. Now they're microwaved and tasted like the canned stuff. Same with the hummus it was so bland! I don't know what to say honestly. I hope they get their act together because I was a regular customer when the old guy was running the place and he did a much better job.

Excellent Middle Eastern food. Never had something I didn't like. Took a friend for the first time, having Middle Eastern food, and he enjoyed it. So don't be shy to try if you never had before. Spread your wings a fly and go to this store. Or restaurant, whatever store rhymed better haha

Really amazing, fresh food and wonderful service. Was visiting from Davis, hadn't been there before - and the person helping (daughter of the owner, I believe) was so incredibly nice and helpful with the order. The food was delicious and so very much appreciated for a couple of friends of mine who were going through some things. When I'm in Modesto I will absolutely be back! And apparently this year is their 10th anniversary, so do them a solid and check them out!

We ordered the falafel plate, falafel wrap, hummus, fries, and baklava. The falafel was the best we've ever had. It was light, fluffy and crunchy. The falafel was made with a tortilla instead of pita bread, which was different but didn't detract. Our kids enjoyed the food too! We will definitely be returning. The service was very nice. I assume the people serving us were husband and wife and they were both very friendly with us and the kids.
