I'm not sure what happened to this once great chain. I used to go to the ones in Tracy and Livermore, but it's been about 10 years. Today was my first (and last) visit to the new one in Modesto. They didn't appear to be insanely busy but it took 25 minutes for 2 cheeseburgers and fries. One bag of fries was hot, the other was room temperature. There was so much mayonnaise on the bun that I had to wipe most of it off with a napkin. The burgers are considerably smaller than they used to be. $31.00 is reasonable for lunch if the food is good, but this was just sad. I don't know how you will stay in business serving food like that.

Courtney was very friendly and professional. She made me feel welcome and offered a very nice dining experience. The food was delicious and cooked properly. She invited me to try a slice of one of the fresh strawberry pies and I accepted. It was very tasty too. I am glad that Nation's finally came to Modesto.

I spent the wad and got the bacon cheeseburger!!! I have to say, other than self grilled burgers, these are the BEST burger you can get, HANDS DOWN!!! Can't say enough good about Nations!!! BAM!!! ?
It was a very pleasant dining experience. The restaurant front was kept nice. Once entered the restaurant itself had a pleasant atmosphere, very welcoming. Our food was fresh and delicious. The cherry on top though, is the blueberry cheesecake we took home. This is gona last us a few days and being 7 months pregnant....it hit the freaking cravings right on the spot.
