Service was outstanding. Very kind!! Food was good, standard cafe fare. Could have been cleaner. Empty sugar packets on our table and spilled coffee stains on menu.

Stop in for breakfast to kill some time while in Modesto last week. Restaurant decor is dated and their clientele are mostly local elderly at 9 am. Noticed MFD having a meeting in the back room, yay, support your local eateries. I loved that I actually had a cup of coffee!!!! Chile Verde omelette was delicious, the pork was so tender and flavorful. Definitely a return visit for that and serving size is decent. I couldn't finish my waffle or biscuit and gravy (very tasty as well) so I took them to go. Waitresses were very friendly, attentive and kind. A definite return for the chile verde

Great PortionsGreat Service and very tasty food.Old school Diner setting very comfortable and clean.Only issue the servers talk really loud about their personal lives which are filled with a bit of drama as is everyone else's situation. But as a consumer and patron of the business I don't care to know any of that drama especiallywhen trying to enjoy my meal. I don't care to know who Mohammed is and why he isn't a good friend. JUST SAYING

The waitress that we had was very nice and always smiling but I do have to say that it was very loud and the other workers and waiter waitress were talking about their personal life and their hang out and it was very so unprofessional and un comfortable for our meal sitting also cause my husband had earing aide and it still made it so hard to have a conversation and a pleasant sit down to have brunch it was dissatisfied that we choose this place especially after church I will not be attending no more I hope you really make changes to this environment and have more respect
