Ordered Chicken Poblano soup on Uber Eats, and got New England Chowder. I hate clams. Uber eats doesn’t care.

Pretty good food but not even close to worth the prices! Two of us had two sandwiches and two cups of soup and two beverages for over $40! Would have been cheaper at almost any other sandwich shop. Good customer service though

Bread was so fresh and good. Soup was just rite sandwich was big and good flavors and fresh. Mac and chees was my favorite! Creamy cheesy taste like grandma made it. Service was very friendly! Just rite size to come in get your lunch and eat it everything was nice and clean.

My honey and I decided to try this place and I must say the pastrami sandwiches we had were amazing. mine was on marble rye his on sourdough, I had the soup he had the chip meal. I really have to say that I was very very disappointed with the young lady that took our order. I did not get her name. She had kind of reddish hair very long in a ponytail. She needs to learn to have a little more patience and kindness with older people and not be so condescending . when we first got there, there was nobody in line but us we were checking out the menu because we've never been there, when we were ready to order, we had numerous questions, and she kept gritting her teeth with a smile and loudly repeating herself like we were 4 and didn't get it the first time. I am sure that to her we were annoying, but our questions were legitimate because nowhere did it say the numbers meant meat only you build a sandwich so we were trying to get it straight. Afterwards I asked her if I could have a sharp knife so that I could cut my sandwich the way I prefer and she said we do not give sharp knives to customers. I almost died in my shoes right there because when I turned around and looked, there were now three people in line I was so embarrassed. On the bright side, the gal that brought us our meal was so sweet she was appreciated. Moral of the story is that when older people come in to order or do business with you doesn't mean we're stupid, be kind. I felt like that was a direct remark saying that customers might attack them, oh geez.

I met my friend here for lunch and tried their crunchy chicken sandwich. It was very tasty and I felt it had the right ratio of everything. I love how soft their bread is!

Came in at 6:45pm on 1/8/2024 and was told they cannot make hot sandwiches anymore because they already started closing.

Hot pastrami & turkey sandwich was AMAZING! Not very crowded on a Thursday night but they were fast. Will definitely be coming back.

I've tried to like this place but it is too expensive for what you get. I added avocado to my sandwich and it was there, I barely found it but it is such a small amount you can't taste it. For a premium priced sandwich it should have a premium amount of toppings. I understand they have to make money but now after this experience I am out. I'd rather make sandwiches at home and bring them.. The location is nice, the service is great and the sandwiches are decent, what I paid $19.26 for should be at least $4 less. Then I would give this place 4 stars, I would still talk about the toppings and I would still come back. They don't need my money anyways they are busy.

I had a turkey salami sandwich and it was really good, and I also ordered a oatmeal cookie and that cookie was the best! The dine in area is really small that's the only downside, but food has no negatives.Kid-friendliness: They have kids meals.

Terrible place will not visit again!!!! $14 for 2 very thin pieces of hot pastrami is ridiculous and to top it off it was cold! Would highly recommend staying away from this establishment

Loved this so much. Took it to go and didn't even sit down at home while devouring the sourdough bowl Clam chowder. The bread is what really what will make me come back, as well as how cool the staff was. The bowl was fresh tasting and toasted. The soup was extra hot and plenty of clams and potatoes. Also had the cookie which was as good as it gets. Just wish it was given warm. I don't know how the other sourdough place with the golden gate logo has better reviews. Their clam chowder is thicker but less clams and smaller potatoes. And their bread less flavorful. Even though the other one is down the street from me, I'll drive farther for this location. Happy new costumer

Amazing salads. Easy place to grab a French dip sandwich that you usually have to go to a sit down restaurant for.
