No food was disgusting and paid 40.00 for food do not recommend it at all . Never will go back again . The rolls were hot and falling apart not freshly made . Had to throw them away . So yes was not happy !!

I ordered two rolls; dragon and a custom roll.. both were very mid. The salmon on my custom roll was way too rubber like. The avocado on both were way too mushy and brown. Coming from someone who has worked at Kimoto, Osaka, and JP Asian Fusion, I genuinely don't think I would ever be back here for any rolls. Glad I gave it a chance but it's not my cup of tea. No flavor at all unless you order something with spicy mayo on it. $38 for two rolls, and only 3 pieces were touched. Only reason why I gave an extra star was because the employees are very sweet! Also who the heck puts crushed unagi inside a dragon roll? I'm still baffled, first place to ever see anything like that rationed. I didn't just pay for cucumber and rice I paid for the unagi and avocado as well lol

Honestly don't know where to begin.. Either the terrible service or the food poisoning my whole family got. To begin the server seemed to be in a rush to leave and pass her tables. Which I then understood because the second server came around she seemed not to do her job very well. Very rude and walked away before we could answer or ask for anything. Second, why was there only one server outside and one sushi chef at the bar doing to go orders, serving, greeting and packing to go orders?! Third, the california is a simple roll to prepare. Imitation crab, avocado, rice, seaweed. How come the crab was hard? like it had been sitting out for days. Fourth, it's not too hard to ask for refills, ask if everything is okay. Again occasionally two ladies would come out from the back kitchen and then go back inside... Fifth, We all got food poisoning from this place food was so poorly prepared and we have been going her for years. Very disappointed.

I don't know what's changed since the last time we've been here (it's been a while) but this was a horrible experience. Both servers didn't care to attend us. My kid even had to ask "when are we going to get our menus" since it had already been a while since we were seated. Very monotone customer service. When we requested some sriracha we were given a very cold "sure." You almost feel guilty for even asking. I'm sorry but we won't be coming back. We should've known better the minute we walked in and we were told "sit in the middle table." No greeting. No acknowledgment. The vibe was completely off. Food was okay. But obviously we go for good food and good service. Wasn't the case here.
they charged me extra on my card, I ordered by phone and modified my payment, separate from the tips and they charged me what they wanted.... that was really annoying

Thinking about sushi and a good deal stop in. The service was very on point. We never worried about an empty glass or what to order. Our server was very attentive. We watched the game, drank sushi bombs and gobbled down a few rolls with fried tempura. Oh the miso soup was pretty tasty too. My dinner partner said they have really good deals on rolls on certain days. I think he said Monday through Thursday but im not positive. We went on Sunday and I didn't pay so I'm not sure how much dinner cost. Definitely going again and wanting to try other options.

First time there and the raw sushi appetizers did not have good flavor.My Grilled Squid was burnt, flavorless and cold.Sashimi salad had more salad than actual fish.The salmon box had two very small pieces of salmon.Not worth the price or flavor.Now if you like just sushi rolls, they seem to have and abundance of those and variety.

I've been here a few times, but never again. I've asked my friends and family never to come here either. Worst service. My last visit, I would guess they weren't a server, but the owner or manager because she mostly just ignored us. Overall, the handful of times I've been here, however, the waiters were meh anyway. Didn't ask if we wanted drink refills, I had to ask for napkins and utensils. Asked for extra Wasabi and was given a teaspoon. She didn't care. Sushi is not good - don't go here expecting your sushi to stay together. Every. Time. I've gotten sushi the rice is not sticky and falls apart. And get this (I asked because I didn't want low sodium soy sauce and all their bottles are low sodium soy sauce) it's not low sodium!!!! The waitress told me that they MAKE their soy sauce and just use those bottles. Which would kind of be a bad thing if someone actually was watching their salt intake!!! It's the worst soy sauce ever. It tastes funny and leaves a weird taste in your mouth. I joked with someone that I need to bring soy sauce packets when I come because I HATE their homemade version. Only good thing about this place is the beer and sake is cheap. They also do half off their rolls Monday through Thursday, but honestly, it's not worth it for garbage sushi. There's a reason it's cheap. People who try this place don't come back, so they have to use discounts/gimmicks to reel people in. Will never visit again, and I encourage you to do the same!!! There's so many better sushi places in Modesto. Go to Kimoto instead.
