The sandwich’s are amazing with a great portion size. I highly recommend getting the lemonade it’s nice and fresh it doesn’t taste like that fake lemonade other places have. The old lady (I forgot her name) she had an amazing service and jokes. This is my opinion and it might sound stupid but she makes you feel like you’re a regular even if you don’t go often. 10/10

In the middle of quiet downtown Monrovia, off the main drag Myrtle, is the unassuming Gene’s Grinders. Simple menu, reasonable prices (get the large) and most important for a deli, quality bread. Without good bread you’re animal cobbling together your sustenance. You’re an upright human and it’s not too much to ask for good bread.I had the Milanesa ( breaded steak) as the Thursday special. Quality. Do yourself a favor and ask more from your sandwhich.
