I love the food here. This is my go to place when I want some good beef teriyaki and rice. It's not too sweet and not too ginger tasting. It's just perfect! And the shrimp gyoza are amazing!!

This has been my go-to eating spot ever since I was younger, and I have always deeply enjoyed the food and customer service. The workers are always so nice and have been friendly faces. My personal favorite is the chicken and beef plate, since it comes with a good amount of food for the price, and the gyoza. There are seats to sit down and eat, but sometimes due to the busy times, there is not a lot of space. But there are also seats outside that allow more space. Overall, one of my favorite eating places. Good quality for a good price! Check it out.

We don't live in the area, but we're willing to drive to Taisho whenever we can. The food is simply delicious and a great value for the quality and quantity. I always order 2 meals just for myself, lol! Every meal we have had over the years is always fresh and delicious. We always order the salmon sushi (my personal favorite), curry chicken (love the curry flavor), teriyaki chicken (always tender), beef teriyaki (my daughter's favorite), chicken udon (the broth is delicious), & salmon teriyaki (always moist). We have also tried the sushi platter and BBQ mix platter, both are made fresh to order, plentiful, and delicious. Service is always spot on. If you haven't tried Taisho, hurry! You won't be disappointed!

Taisho has the best curry and rice! It's so tasty! It has chicken and carrots and is a bit spicy.
The place is as busy as ever. Called in for pick up and took a little over 20 min. Food quality and quantity are the same but cost definitely has gone up but what doesn't? We ordered a Salmon sushi bowl, 2 large chicken teriyaki bowls and one small chicken teriyaki bowl for 5 adults, under $50. It is a great bargain place to go for some decent food on a lazy weekend

I've been frequenting Taisho for almost 20 years now. I remember the good ol' days of coming here for lunch during high school. Fast forward, I am still finding myself at Taisho whenever I'm craving some sashimi during the weekday but don't have time to order or sit down at a sushi restaurant. It's a great "fast food" spot. I call in the order and it usually takes 15 minutes. Parking is easy to find so I'm able to pick it up easily in time to race home to eat and be ready for my next meeting. I always get their salmon avocado roll, mac salad and salmon sashimi bowl. My dad who comes here even more often (at least once a week) likes getting their salmon and mackerel bentos. This place is just all around a solid place if you're looking for a quick and easy lunch at a good value. They also sell sushi platters so that's a great option if you're headed to a potluck and don't know what to bring.

Only for the simple fact that when I ordered today Friday January 19th 2024 at approximately 330-4:00 p.m. Whoever is behind the cash register is a snot. I never had this experience at this establishment before. I got to experience a young little snotty thing behind the counter , taking my order. She was very rude/ pretentious .There was no reason, I ordered as normal but apparently I felt I wasn't going fast enough for her, I am older and my vision isn't the greatest. To top it off After giving me phouchy energy, she was the same person that gave me my order bags. She made sure to still have an attitude (her tone /, the way she looked at me) and the way she just threw in the packets into my bag. It was quite spectacular, and absolutely unnecessary. Is that unusual for Los Angeles? Probably not.However, do I really need to deal with this when I have the freedom to choose the establishments I want to support?No.

This review is not for the food, rather it's for the fact that they constantly give you the orders wrong. It's basically a crap shoot when you order food to go. We always order the same thing, always with the teriyaki sauce on the side. Upon picking up the orders, we ask to make sure the teriyaki is not on the food, but on the side. They confirm it's on the side. When we get home, we find the teriyaki is on the food. I don't know how else to get this across to the cashiers there. If the owner is reading this, you really need to fix this. It's at the point where we're going to go elsewhere since it's nearly impossible to get the food as ordered. Today was the second time in one week that the order was wrong but we're too far to go back to complain so we tried calling but no one answered our multiple calls.
