We were seated immediately with a nice view. The cocktails were excellent, particularly the special on the board above the bar. Perfectly balanced, interesting and exciting. We started with the ceviche, which was incredibly fresh and bright on the palate. A perfect opener. We had the mushroom empanadas, our favorite of the day, which were rich in flavor and very satisfying with a coconut and cilantro sauce that made us order a second plate. We also enjoyed the yucca croquettes and the curry sauce.

The food is very good. Service is friendly. The view is great! Our waiter is pretty knowledgeable about his fare. He would "upsell" additional appetizers if he thinks you order something that will need other stuffs to go with it. The manager walked around to say hello to each table.

We have been here 5 times all visits prior we're just for the appetizers and shared food. Tonight we ordered it all so, I t's time to write a review. Tonight, we our server was Omar. He was attentive, he perfectly paced our courses starting from the moment we arrived. Omar made us feel very well taken care of, not once did we wonder where our server is or where our food/drink was. He was excellent at assuring we had the top tier recommendations for all courses including drinks. Our dinner lasted almost two hours but I flew by because the service was so fluid. Our date nights are usually at Pasta Moon but after our visit with Omar we have found a new date night spot. Not only was the service great but the food was delicious and fresh Don't forget to end the night with the churros which are handmade to order and just about the best thing you've ever had. Don't think twice about a visit to this lovely establishment. Definitely request upstairs seating for dinner and outside seating for brunch! P.S. Be aware this is a family restaurant so there are kids present at almost any time of day.

Yesterday, we celebrated my mother-in-law’s 81st birthday at La Costanera in Half Moon Bay. From the way we were greeted as we entered to the amazing service from our server and the absolutely delicious food. I’m going to go five stars all the way!
When I tasted the appetizers I thought that the food couldn’t possibly get better, but I was wrong. The main course was amazing and so was the dessert. The food is so unique and delicious, and all the servers are so kind. The decor and view just really brings the experience to the next level.

They sat us near the kitchen door which was constantly left open and they had the patio door also open, which made where we sat extremely cold.The server brought our drinks(like 45 minutes after we ordered) after we got our appetizer and I asked if our drinks are on the way. The food was really mediocre, the coconut rice was beyond sweet.

We were pleasantly surprised with this Peruvian restaurant. We ordered a variety of food to try and were pleased with every single dish. Service was great and accommodating to our fur baby. The patio is setup with heaters and firepits. We highly recommend this place!

Portions are big especially for the appetizers.It is rare that i enjoyed every single dish of a cuisine type that i am not used to!The service was also impeccable too.Grilled octopus is the star of the meal. Tender, fresh, great balanced mystery sauce. ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️Cibeche was fresh and delicious too. I have been to Peru and i think the most authentic cibeche was more sour.
