“I've been going there as a treat for over fifteen years. Their menu is extensive and would take an hour to get through. My go to is the shrimp avocado omelette but sometimes I ask them to surprise me because I can't make up my mind. I have NEVER been disappointed.Wheelchair accessibility: They don't really have a set spot for a wheelchair, but are very quick to provide a space for one. My wife is on a deluxe scooter, which is way bigger than a wheelchair and they accommodated her, and very politely too.“

“First time trying Indonesian food and what a treat. The menu was well explained in the foreign names so it gave me and my family an easy way to choose our food options. I tried the combo plate special which includes most common dishes , turmeric fried chicken, rendang beef, vegetable curry, turmeric rice and sauteed tofu. We tried various items on the menu with the family and we loved it all. Service was great and we were even greeted by the chef, which she was also the owner, Stanny. She was so nice and asked us how we enjoyed the food. She even remembered all our names. We will be coming back to try more things for sure.“

“Got a Vietnamese coffee and Thai tea. The Vietnamese coffee was feshly brewed. The beans are strong, but wish they were a little more robust. Also wish the drink itself was slightly sweeter. The Thai tea was pretty good. Definitely one of the better ones I've tried in the surrounding area. Almond Haus is also a really good spot to study or get some work done. They have multiple tables, large windows that provide natural lighting, wifi, and a clean bathroom.“

I just so happen to work nearby, so the convenience factor of being able to order ahead and walk to pick my lunch up is great, however the food is absolutely incredible.I love the turkey avocado sandwich, and I just recently tried the jalapeño burger and let me just say... wow. Freshly chopped jalapeño mixed with cream cheese spread on a perfectly cooked patty, with a side of freshly cooked kettle chips and freshly brewed iced tea. “This is the best Altadena ever. It's boujie but homey at the same time. Service always makes my day better. Daniela is always so sweet to my daughter when we stop by before or after school. You can literally park in front, grab what you need and get out. I buy milk, eggs, Brie bites, pizza to bake when I'm lazy for dinner, charcuterie snacks, gelato popsicles, homemade honey, homemade pastries, lemons, strawberries, and whatever random snacks catch my eye. “This place is a hidden gem, I almost didn't find it when I came into the plaza. Coming here started my Sunday on the right foot, the ambience is a bit rustic with wooden tables & cool record players. The service was top notch and the owner gave us fresh pressed orange juice on the house and it was some of the best juice I've had, sweet and not bitter. My family and I ordered the chilaquiles, Sunny's sandwich and the Nashville hot chicken waffle. Across the board all three dishes were delicious and we all loved the soft scrambled eggs. My dish was the nashville hot chicken and it could honestly feed 3 people as the chicken was huge and it also came with eggs & hashbrowns (not pictured here). It had a good kick with a good crisp to it! It is a bit heavy so super recommend sharing this aha. I'll be coming back to try the avocado sandwich & the katsu one.“

“Love Rail Side Cafe!. Their menu has many savory and delectable options in addition to many fresh baked goodies. Rail side cafe is known for their perfect location. The owners and the staff are attentive and friendly. They offer an excellent customer service. The vintage paintings, the decor and the music create a very relaxing ambience. They have indoor seating and the outdoor patio is pretty too. For this time, I ordered; 3 Caprese panini with fruits Montreal bagel Cranberry and Blueberry Scones The food is always fresh, tasty and very flavorful. The scones are exceptional! It is a must try. I enjoyed both the cranberry and the blueberry scones. They were crispy from outside and flaky and tender with perfect sweetness. “The most calm, tasty, and accommodating cafe in the Claremont village. I have spent countless hours studying at Norema and every single tea is fresh and well-balanced. My favorite teas are the lychee tea, matcha milk tea, angel’s kiss and devil’s kiss teas. If you’re a student, I highly recommend stopping by for a new study spot. Get the gyoza and rice bowls also for a fresh, yummy lunch. I love the owners, they are so welcoming and kind. I can’t recommend visiting enough for a midday break or new relaxing study spot!“

We also ordered the pandan milk tea and the panddan brownie, which both were very delicious. We tried the beef empanada and the crinkles... both were soo good! “My friend and I visited for the first time and were pleasantly surprised by how welcoming the staff was. Goku made sure everything was to our liking. The food was served hot, spicy, and quick (my favorite). We highly recommend the goat curry and Tikka masala as well as the cheese and garlic naan. “This Coffee Roaster is truly a specialty one! I ordered Cappucinos and it tasted really good. It has a hint of citrus and stronger milk chocolate. I also got a bag of beans, which also had the same tasting notes. Costs for a cup of coffee and a 12oz bag of beans are just on the average side for a Specialty Coffee Roaster. They are also serving unique Iced espresso drinks, but description of each title is not on the board, so you need to ask for it. ?☕️“

“I went to Nancy Cafe on a nice Sunday morning. The service was good. We had a nice waitress. The place was pretty small but well kept and clean. I loved the 50's retro theme. I ordered French toast that was good. I was a little disappointed because I overheard another waitress say there was churro French toast. I would have led loved to have a churro French toast. Overall a nice place and will be back.“

The frying of the donuts in the front is not good for patrons or even staff. The hot smoke spreads into the seating area and burns patrons eyes. Not good if you wanna stay long to do work or chat. I verified this with another patron who kept scratching her eyes. Either get some better ventilation or make donuts in the back. I’m pretty sure this is some sort of health safety hazard… OSHA? I ordered the Tiger Milk Tea, Strawberry Yakult, and Peach Oolong Tea. The Tiger Milk Tea was Thai tea with Boba. I would give it a 8/10. The Strawberry Yakult what is flavorful and had strawberries in it. I would give it a 9/10. I would want to try their other Yakult drinks. The Peach Oolong was very flavorful. I would also give this an 8/10. It was awesome that you could customize sweetness. I made all three drink 1/4 sweetness which was perfect. The parking was easy.
