Lately its been difficult after covid wrecked some businesses but Arax is still holding on even after losing some of their suppliers. The fresh and cracker bread have never disappointed. Customer service is great and the woman behind the counter is always sweet and nice to talk to.

Small family business that has been serving the community for over 2 decades, at least.Small grocery storeThey carry some imported products from Russia, Eastern and Southern European countries.I think the lady is the only one that knew English, or wanted to help take my order?Good Manwiches, you will know why...The prices are okayThe Manwiches:The sandwich prices are slightly on the more expensive side in the sandwich world, but not as high as Frumebto's, and the filling is freshly sliced and on the generous side.Turkey Manwich -- The ~1 footlong sandwiches will really help give you a strong manly jaw!!!! It's a slightly tough sourdough bread. Omg, I haven't had a jaw workout in over a year but I was feeling my jaw strengthen by the time I finished eating their sandwich!!! Idk if it was just that day but the sandwich bread 100% will strengthen my jaw muscles, and I'm certain it will strengthen yours too!!! You really don't know how luxurious our food is compared to our ancestors if you haven't had to eat something tough.100% will get another sandwich!!!It's a tasty workout lolGuys, open your wallets and help support a small business, while making yourself look marginally more manly lol

I go there for their fruit. Its always very sweet. I was tired of trying at the local markets as a convenience while shopping and ending up with tasteless fruit. Arax Deli carries fruit that you don't find to often.

Very nice Armenian Deli in Montebello. The store was clean and tidy. The employees were nice and welcoming.

Market is on the east end of Montebello, they share the area with KFC and a liquor store. The whole area is not the best, property needs some work and a good cleaning. Arax's selection is okay, not the most friendliest or attentive merchants. My usual customer experience with them is they are watching TV or eating/snacking- not the most professional. Fortunately, I recently found another Armenian market (Ranch on Whittier Blvd, Montebello), I like them much better because they have a superior selection of deli food items, produce, and service. The owner there takes the time to show me the differences of feta cheeses and olives and gives taste samples. They have good quality EVOO from Greece at reasonable prices.

If you're looking for quality feta or other Greek deli items, this is a good spot to get you out of a jam. They have a wide cheese selection for such a small place along with cold cuts. The only reason they miss a star is that I've found their produce to be of lower quality of outright unsaleable at times. They staff is also very friendly and knowledgeable when it comes to their offerings.

This place is awsome, this family owned business is very warm and uplifting. Everything here is fresh and the best quality there is. The people are always friendly and caring. You can get fresh made sandwiches, the best fruits and vegetables. The best quality deli and cheeses. Stop by and you'll be hooked forever. Terrific place to shop.

My wife went into this hive of rudeness to purchase pitted Kalamata olives, tomatoes, and feta cheese. Unfortunately the last several times she has stopped by to purchase goods, they have not had pitted olives. I guess my wife interrupted the woman behind the counter and her friend, who were babbling on, and as a result received a rather rude reply. My wife got the hint and said; "I'll stop asking then" and quickly walked out. Sorry, you have just lost a customer. I'm sure she'll get a warmer welcome at Good Food Market in Pasadena.

This hidden jewel is Awesome!!! A montebello hidden treasure. If you ever ask yourself I want something but don't really know what?!?!?! This is perfect for you I'm sure they'll have something new to your taste buds They have Greek, Armenian, Indian and Mexican stuff. It's a cool cultural place to find different things. It's really small but very comfortable. Check it out if you ain't to far. Step out of the box try something new!!!
