If you are traveling to los Angeles,CA, this is a must place to eat highly recommend. I have been a big fan of this place for the last 15 years. Every time I make the trip, I make sure my family and I stop there ? tortas ahogadas is one of my favorite foods to eat, and the service is always very friendly and very caring. IT IS very dirty FROM the entrance to the bathroom but, and the floor inside has no hygiene and the cakes are drowned. Everything is regular.

Went and got on a waiting list , we waited roughly 15 minutes to be seated, once we got seated we weren’t given menus and since we were first timers we didn’t know if we had to get them ourselves ,another 5 minutes until one of the waitresses heard me say something about the menus that she gave us some , not even a minute passed when another waitress came to take our order . They have ONE type of kids meal (nuggets and fries) which guess what ? Was sold out because they ran out during the weekend lol the one item available for kids wasn’t available. Food was about 15 min to come out and was at its best almost cold, carnitas where room temp almost borderline cold. It was roughly 3pm when we heard the waitress tell a family that was just seated next to us the only meats they had left was chicken and carnitas, it was just so ironic that the variety that’s listed on the menu isn’t available. So before hand just know that some of the menu items listed won’t be available.

The workers are terrible, they go to the place once and only so as not to stay in the house, they would have slept more, and the owners of the place are somewhat careless, the food is good but it is a shame that the workers do not serve correctly and

I had an order of 4 large tortas.., 1 mini torta , 6 tacos and everything arrived in ascrambled, , not each individual order arrived... also there was not enough sauce for the entire order... this seemed like a offense of the restaurant...very bad service and very poor portions..
