I haven't been to a Wienerschnitzel in years. I was craving their mini corn dogs. The cashier that took our was friendly and helpful. Our order came out quickly. My craving was satisfied. Mini corn dogs are just like I remember.

Let me start this by saying that is place has some of the best fast food hot dogs. I love the Junkyard Dog. But this place is super sketchy. You can't see inside from the super tiny carryout window. It's covered with a ridiculous amount of stickers. You can't see inside and they can't see outside. I stood there for at least 5 minutes before they noticed me. I was beginning to think the window was closed and I would need to use the drive thru to get some food.

Food cooked as you order, love the chili dogs, burgers and fries.Parking: Good, plenty, accessible.Kid-friendliness: Tables and benches with umbrellas for kids and others can eat.Wheelchair accessibility: Open access to a ramp, easy to get to order window.

This is the closest Weinershnitzel to my home, now. First, the one on San Gabriel north of the 10 closed. That was MY Weinershnitzel. Then next, the one on Garvey and New shut their doors. That was my rebound Weinershnitzel. Weinershnitzel does not sell the best hotdog. They do not have the best chili. Does it matter? Naw. I love me some Weinershnitzel. That red A-frame storefront with the outside seating is as iconic as an old-school McDonald's or those original hacienda-inspired Taco Bell restaurants. I find it weird when another restaurant takes over a building that was obviously a shuttered Weinershnitzel. Their chili dog was what I knew the before Pink's, Fab's, or Chronie's entered the picture. But still-- sometimes their regular mustard dog or corn dog really scratches that hotdog itch. Yeah, you can sub their default "World Famous Original" for a Premium Beef or Polish for extra (I do) if you're feeling snobby about the franks you stick between your buns (I am), but their default works fine. Weinershnitzel used to be one of the most budget friendly places to grab a bite, but not anymore. Seemingly overnight, Weinershnitzel got pricy. I know everything is getting more expensive, but from 99¢ to $3.09 for their corn dog? Dang. Add in jalapeño poppers and mini corn dogs, a drink, and fries and a meal for two can easily induce sticker shock if this is your first visit in a while. I recommend either using their daily deals or searching for coupons on their website. When we order, we usually stick with the basics; the stuff they know how to do like a chili dog, mustard dog, kraut dog, mini corn dogs, or jalapeño poppers; sometimes fries, once in a while, a chili burger, occasionally that polish sandwich. Whenever they offer bratwurst, I always have to order it. This is not the place to flex your hotdog knowledge nor expect a Costco deal. Their hotdogs are not steamed, like God intended, but cooked atop a griddle. Still, Weinershnitzel is the only fast food hotdog chain around and it does its job well enough. Sometimes Weinershnitzel is exactly what you need. I would be sad if this one closed too.

11/25/2023 2344. I have no qualms with the cashier. With that said, i ordered a veggie Chicago dog and veggie bbq dog before work, i work grave and i am unable to leave my department. I do not eat meat, im not a vegan nor I consider myself a vegetarian, id be making my own food if I thought myself a vegetarian and i am not strong will enough to be vegan. I just dont eat meat of any kind. I got my order and left to work. 30min early, i took a bite out of the veggie bbq dog, in my car, and it was smothered in bacon bits. I would have taken a pic but i end up racing to wienerschnitzel for a replacement. The cashier checked with the maker and said this is how it is. I informed him i ate this hotdog before and the veggie doesn’t come with bacon and it comes with a veggie wiener, i pay about 2 dollars extra for this when compared to the meat one. I was ready to show the ingredients from the website. She/he made it again and just bbq, onions and pickle on a veggie weiner and bun, which is correct. Went back to work with 5mim to spare. Took a bite at my desk and swallowed, then a second one. I toss both dogs away, i just got really sick and regurgitated. Either they gave me beef wieners or the food is spoiled. I ate these dogs before and this never happened, at both montebello and Pico Rivera venues. This place wasted my time and my money, food and gas, although per usual, jalapeño poppers i enjoyed later on. I wish I could make my own food but I rarely have time to do so and shop for it. If you work grave then you know how exhausting life can be, along side morning responsibilities. I dont want to waste the gas for modern shamans, really wish i could though, nor for waba/flame broiler. Anyways, be sure to check your food before you leave. As for myself, i notice a lot of mistakes with fast foods, along with increased prices. How the heck should these people get paid 20 dollars an hour when some can’t even get your coffee right, even when you ask for the creams and sugar on the side…Vegetarian options: Not sure if it was actually vegetarian…

The food did not taste as good as it looked and the restaurant had a weird smell to it. The service was good.

With my order I asked for a large drink and also some ranch on the side. The second guy that actually gave me my food asked if I needed anything else, I said ranch. He said he has to charge me for it. I said I ordered it before I paid. He never gave it to me. We left and didn't realize until we got to our hotel that he didn't give us our drinks. We went back, and my drink was small. The first guy didn't even take my order right. We were literally the only customers there, both times. I don't even think they put cheese on my chilli cheese dogs. Won't be going back.

Horrible! Hours say 10 am. Owner and staff saw us standing in front and didn't have the courtesy to say they were not ready. Just ignored us.I for sure won't be coming back.Sad to say how the owner or manager doesn't teach staff common courtesy. I won't be surprised if this one closes.

wieners were way over cooked. Skin was firm and wrinkled. Caher advised a wrong upgrade for the Sunday special.

Worst Weinerschnitzel location I've ever been to. Dogs tasted like they'd been grilled, in hindsight those dogs were old AF. Save your colon the food poisoning and don't go here. This location absolutely does not follow franchise rules.

Slow staff. Line gets long because of lunch crowd. There was plenty of staff around, but they moved slowly. This is in comparison to other visits to this store and other pandas.
