Food was solid but expensive, drinks are great. Atmosphere is lively and fun. Service was outstanding from everyone but the waitress. She simply forgot about us after we ordered a dessert that never came. Left us sitting around wondering if she had quit or got injured in the kitchen. Should have dined and dashed because she never came back for the check, had to walk it up to the hostess. Place is so busy, they wouldn’t have noticed or cared if we ran out and drove away in our Cullinan without paying.

Love to come to this restaurant any time I'm in Santa Barbara. It's definitely pricey, but the food and the drinks are great, and the people watching is the best around.

If you are not a local or a celebrity, the service is terrible. Poor service, overcooked steak, long waits... not a great experience at all.

Came on Valentine's Day to enjoy a nice dinner. The bread and butter is to die for. We could not stop indulging with the unlimited carbs. I ordered the Lucky's salad and especially enjoyed the shrimp, avocado and goat cheese. We all had a great conversation and meal; the waiters were quick coming around every time we sipped our waters to fill them back up. We opted out for dessert but got to see some delicious looking ones at the table near us. My friend ordered an entree and the Mac & Cheese... quite cheesy and filling.

Luv this place!! Been coming here for since we moved up from LA in 2012. Menu is classic, food is prepared perfectly, every time. Service is top notch and semi formal, never had a bad experience. Servers are knowledgeable, professional and well spoken . My wife and I love the bar area. Only downside, is that it's so good, sometimes hard to get a seat. We are semi regulars in the summer . The atmosphere is classic steak house and the smells are so rich, they add to the experience. Thanks for doing such a great job boys. Customer for life

It's over priced if the truth be told No garnish even on the plates - you get your protein and nothing else, everything else is charged for. The salads too are very very small and expensive for what they are.

This is a nice restaurant but there was nothing exceptional about the food, service, or atmosphere other than the prices. I’ve eaten at many nice places before, and I left here disappointed. Lucky’s has all of the ingredients for a wonderful experience, but everything came off as just average.

Food was great!! Clientele were all very nice. Wait staff were very attentive. It's now one of our favorite restaurants!! Wife and I both had a fish dish. We were very pleased. Wine pairing and selection were perfect. Restaurant gave us a very nice dessert to help us celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary. Valet parking is free. Overall, we had a memorable experience. Great pick for our special night.

Never had a negative thing to say about Lucky's. It never disappoints. Last night I took an old friend, his wife and their two grown boys and his wife. We had a great time, great laughs, great drinks and great food! Thank you staff for always making me right at home!

I came to Santa Barbara for a business trip, and asked locals what was a great steakhouse. Luckys was named several times so after that I had to try. So glad I did and this now may become my goto stop if I'm in the area. A local moderate steakhouse where locals go and certainly a great place where you can see lots of "drama" given the clientele within the city. For me this is a joy as a tourist because it gives something to talk about with other locals on top of being great food and service. Atmosphere: A moderate steakhouse with a bit of that classic hollywood feel. Definitely has seen it's share of celebrities. As stated above, a lot of locals come out and with it being a very rich town, lots of good stories are to be overheard. For me this was basically dinner and a show since the crowd can get a bit crazy but they are very friendly regardless. It is very entertaining to just watch people let loose, especially if you get just be a fly on the wall and listen/watch Food: Steaks steaks steaks. They have many other options too such as cheesy potatoes and salads. All delicious, but as I said the speciality is steaks. Both my visits I ended up getting a ribeye, marinated in different ways. Perfection, got that right medium rare cook and well seasoned. Simple as that. Service: The staff is a big seller for me. Both times I've went all the bartenders were very busy but great to talk to since they're also witnessing the drama happening. Mike in particular I remember, being very gracious to me while other patrons put on a show. Again so besides being an amazing steak house, this really gave me the feel of the local town spot where the community gathers and lets loose. I certainly will try to come back to hear what stories are to be heard/made.
