From the moment you enter the property you are treated with respect and receive white glove service. Definitely recommend celebrating birthdays & life events here. The speakeasy, although tiny, was a fun experience and great drinks. Dinner at the restaurant was incredible. You won't be disappointed no matter what you order. And definitely save room for the desserts. Highly recommend the banana fosters and the chocolate soufflé! Gorgeous property. Incredible ambiance. Wonderful service.

There is no more beautiful place than the San Ysidro Ranch. The atmosphere is spectacular. Is this worth the price? Everyone should decide. we arrived, expecting to sit seated in the Stonehouse. We were told that we had to sit in the wine room downstairs. We were told that in order to sit in the beautiful Stonehouse restaurant proper we would have we would've had to make a reservation six months in advance. This was never made clear to us. We've been to this restaurant several times in the past, and this was never the case. This is a great disappointment to us, as this was a special occasion, and we had to sit in a room that was noisy, cold, and not at all conducive to our experience that we had hoped to have. the food was really good. The service was good but if these prices we expected better.

It was my new boyfriend's birthday. I communicated ahead of time to ask if they could do some thing special for him, and it was a beautiful experience. From the minute we checked in at the gate to, to the friendly valet, to amazing music by Chris Fossek. No detail was lost. The food was outstanding, the celebration presentation tasteful. We are so privileged to have this extraordinary property in Santa Barbara. Much appreciation goes to all who made this special birthday spectacular. We are grateful, Maria and Greg

Sensational experience dining here with breathtaking ocean views and first class silver service, great cocktail of smoked blood orange margarita and beautifully presented fine food with extensive wine menu to pair with. Super impressed with the surroundings of the San Yosidro Ranch and manicured garden! Five star all the way!

What an amazing experience! From being greeted by Mark at the main entry gate to the service in the speakeasy to the perfect dinner experience with Eric and team on the upper level...it was perfect. The Steak Diane was very good, and the presentation was fantastic and fun to watch. It was great to pair the steak with the mac and cheese.

Stonehouse was an extraordinary event. I don't say this lightly, but it was about as close to perfect as one could hope. The atmosphere was and beautiful and quintessential Santa Barbara/Monticito. The service is impecable, but relaxed. The food was perfect. We went with some close friends and it was a Turku memorable evening. If you go for dinner, be sure to drop by their speakeasy, Plow & Angel before or after.

The food was absolutely outstanding and delicious. The outdoor setting with its spectacular ocean views further enhanced the dining experience. The service was exceptional – professional, friendly, and attentive. Highly recommend

We dined on a rainy Friday evening for my husband's birthday. He had suggested rescheduling for a dry evening, but I said the Ranch will take good care of us, let's go. We have dined here many times over the years and it's consistently been a special experience. We were seated in the Veranda and though there was a fire lit, it was quite chilly and we both needed lap blankets. Our server (Emanuel?) was clearly new and while pleasant, his service was quite awkward. This made us uncomfortable. He was at a loss to describe a new starter, the sweet potato mezzelune, but I ordered it anyway and it was delicious! Please keep it on the menu! Our food was good, but the and chilly ambiance coupled with the inexperienced service made for a less than stellar experience.

Beautiful property, excellent food using some of the veggies and herbs grown in their garden. Really enjoyed the black cod and Japanese yellowtail crudo. Celebrated our anniversary here and got 5 star service.

Amazing experience, through and through. Went for a birthday dinner, and everyone down to the valet guy said happy birthday to my boyfriend, amazing experience. Delicious food and quite the experience at the table.

A perfect couple's lunch! The wine was outstanding and the Yellowtail Hamachi was maybe the best we ever had! The Vegan Burger & bread with olive oil was delicious. Excellent service combined with a lovely setting made the day simply special....

Truly beautiful grounds, worth at least 10-15 minutes to walk through. Our servers, Bobby and Milo, were exceptionally personable and attentive. A little bit cold outside in mid-March (bring a coat), but the dining area was secluded and beautiful. To our surprise, the vegan rolls were melt in your mouth delicious. The smoky blood orange margarita was fun to try as an experience, make sure to videotape it. Their bottled water from the Austrian Alps really was good. They lemon tart dessert was delicious. My husband did not prefer the tomato. We barbecue sauce on their award-winning baby back ribs, although the meat was super tender. The mashed potatoes were delicious!

Me & my wife come here for special occasions or the irregular brunch. We we're so excited to celebrate our anniversary at Stonehouse about a year ago, but it was underwhelming to say the least. I should have sent back the ribs because the "award winning" description was certainly false. A tv dinner or McRib would have out classed these ribs. They were sad. My wife's lobster was fine, but the most memorable items were the olives. It is usually the best service, but we had a waitress who was very awkward and somewhat intrusive. Do not know if I would go back again. I only give it a 3 because our experiences have been much better in the past.

This will be our second time having lunch at the Stone House. The menu was about the same. As usual the food was outstanding. Fresh ingredients make all the difference. The waitstaff was attentive without being overbearing. Outstanding in every way.
