The Cream puffs are always good. Love it! This review is for their service, I stopped by this location for the first time, and I bought a dozen, Comes out to the total of $44 and I was given a $5 discount for the dozen which was great! And they offered me a stamp card, $10 for each stamp. My bill was $39, I already paid. So I asked If I can purchase another one, so I don’t waste the extra $9 and get an additional stamp. I was told that they cannot do that because the transaction has been complete which I understand, but I think as a business, customers satisfaction is very important, I hope they can be a little bit more flexible with situations like this.

Cream puffs from here were so popular before, and I haven't had them in a long time until my brother brought me here and bought a bunch of cream puffs. It was so yummy. For health's sake, I wouldn't eat this too often, but once in a while is ok!

Great cream puffs, we'll be visiting again. My husband liked the hot tea from Taiwan and asked the name so we can buy some for home.

Everything about this place is great. Great menu, amazing service, exceptionally clean, family friendly, parking available behind building. And everything I've ordered is delicious. I've tried all of their pastries and some of their drinks and never been disappointed. Will definitely be back soon.

I went to this Beard Papa's & bought the Mix & Match dozen for around $30, as a replacement for a birthday cake. It was a decision I'm glad I made bc the cream puffs are stable, hold well, portable, & can be baked or airfried to maintain their crispiness. . Most cream puffs sold in bakeries & donut shops are refrigerated & prefilled so the bread is already cold & moist. When I think of cream puffs, Beard Papa's is my standard due to their filling which is a mix of whipped cream & custard, very thick, large amount, & delicious without being too sweet, a proper choux pastry. They only fill the pastry when you order so they're not all mushy & cold. I'd say 2 cons are: they are quite expensive if you are not used to these kind of choux puffs, another 'con' is there's so much cream in each puff, you could easily put it onto another pastry for extra deliciousness. The excess cream can make your eating area quite messy ?.No bathrooms. Seating inside & outside. Free wifi. There are also drinks. Street parking can be difficult, but there's a backlot with lots of parking space.Parking: Street parking can be difficult to find later in the day, but there is a back lot with lots of spaces.

Haven't had these since probably grade school days. Got the a mix and match, 6 cream puffs, all the original shells, and got the flavors: vanilla, green tea, and ube. LOTS of custard filling. Love it! Not too sweet, fairly light, which is so nice and rare. A light, creamy custard dessert to end the day on a happy note. I think I liked the ube the most. I do recommend cleaning your palate after each cream puff to taste each cream filling the fully. Overall, will definitely will come back again, rediscovering old gems on my birthday!!

What a great spot for the perfect afternoon sweet treat. Was making another purchase on the same block, having seen this spot many times, and today, green tea was calling my name. So thankful to indulge and will definitely be back to try more flavors. A cream puff is more than a sweet bread yet not a heavy dessert. The green tea flavoring was subtle yet so tasty. The puff was amazing and one can see fresh batches being made waiting on cooling racks. Don't believe me, see for yourself :)

Beard Papa's in Monterey Park, California, has taken my dessert cravings to a whole new level with their exceptional cream puffs. I recently treated myself to these delectable delights and I'm still swooning over the experience. The cream puffs at Beard Papa's are a work of art that perfectly balances flaky pastry and heavenly cream. The pastry shell was crisp and delicate, providing a satisfying contrast to the luxurious cream inside. Speaking of the cream, it was nothing short of divine - velvety, rich, and beautifully whipped. Each bite was an explosion of flavor that left me craving for more. What impressed me beyond the deliciousness of the cream puffs was the evident attention to detail. The presentation was impeccable, and you could tell that these treats were crafted with care. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable, helping me navigate their tempting selection of flavors. If you're in the area and have a sweet tooth, Beard Papa's cream puffs are an absolute must-try. Trust me, you won't be disappointed!

If you're looking for delicious cream puffs Beard Papa's is the place. Convenient parking on the street or in the back of the building. The shop is clean & the staff is very friendly. Fillings differ from day to day so call before if you're looking for something specific. We normally just get classic but this time we ventured out & tried cookies & cream & strawberry shortcake shells with cream filling. Both were delicious! Our daughter loves the matcha filling & chocolate filling. My tip: Get a six pack for an extra discount:)

Strawberry shortcake crème puff Usually, I order the original vanilla cream puff, but during my most recent visit, I decided to try the strawberry shortcake cream puff. I was pleasantly surprised by how delicious it was. It reminded me of the strawberry shortcake ice cream bars from the trucks. The outer shell was nice and crispy, while the filling was light and airy. Since there was only one person working behind the counter, my order took a while before it was prepared. Aside from the wait, I highly recommend checking this place out! @eatwamburger

We had dinner nearby and visited. An older Asian woman was working hard making it and serving customers. It was a system where cream was immediately added to pre-made bread when ordered.Maybe that's why you have to wait if there's a backlog of orders. However, you can wait because you can eat something fresher than buying it pre-made.The dough seemed like they got it frozen from somewhere, probably because it was a franchise.I ordered 6 minis for $7 each. There were 3 matcha and 3 vanilla, but the vanilla was okay to eat.But the matcha had no taste. The color was nice, but it had no scent and it felt like I was eating tasteless cream. It's not cheap as one mini costs over $1, but the taste is just so-so, so I don't think I'll visit again.

Bad service, food is ok, didn't offer napkins.

the cashier was super nice and even offered a coupon card. the only reason why i decided to give 3 stars is because i ordered 6 mini cream puffs for $7. i only received 4, missing 2. which seems kind of unusual since that is a big difference. the workers did seem like they were in a rush, even though it was just my sister and i in the store. overall the cream puffs are pretty good, just disappointed i'm missing some.

Last time I've had beard papa was in Japan. I'm glad they opened a location here. It tastes just like I remembered. Service was also very friendly here.

Delicious! I tried their chocolate cream and butter puffs...both great. I especially liked their featured banana filling.
