We tried the diamond set. The meat quality of the 1st round was really good. But the quality of a5 wagyu was not as good after the 1st round. Sweet shrimp was not that fresh, and the steam egg portion was too big. The wagyu sandwich was not good at all and way too dried. Overall, it was a great experience.

The ambiance is inviting, with a sleek and lovely décor that sets the stage for an unforgettable meal. From the moment we sat down, the aroma of sizzling meats and the sound of the grill filled the air, igniting our appetites. The menu offers a tantalizing array of options, from tender slices of marinated beef to fresh seafood and vibrant vegetables. But it's not just about the food; the attentive service and welcoming atmosphere make dining even better. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable, ensuring that every aspect of your meal is nothing short of perfection. The only reason that I gave it a four star is the appetizers were barely warm by the time it was put to the table but besides that everything is good. We’ll be back again.

Hidden at a corner of a small plaza. Nicely decorated inside, i really like that samurai picture on the wall. 90 mins time limit, high quality AYCE BBQ. Server was friendly and got us everything we ordered quickly. Large selection of high quality beef, appetizers and a few seafood items. We had a great time at this place, $70 well spent. Will be back again soon

I think the diamond tier is worth it for the premium cuts of meat (and my bf can eat a lot). It was also a bonus that it included soft drinks and beer. My only complaint is that our server sent out all of the premium items as soon as we sat down without giving us a chance to order or understand what we were getting. There were definitely a bunch of items ordered that we typically wouldn't have ordered (lots of seafood items). They weren't bad, but they were filling, and kept us from ordering more items that we came for (the premium beef cuts).

I had found this place on Yelp a while back but never had the chance to try it until now, which I'm glad I did!! We came in around 12:30 on a Saturday and was pleasantly surprised with no wait. Once we left though, there were people waiting. As soon as you come in and are about to be seated, they automatically ask you which menu you wanted to use. You have to choose prior to seating. We opted for the regular at $59/person and we were all satisfied. Once you sit down, there's automatically some sides, salad, radish, and seaweed. We ordered one of everything for the waygu and a bunch of side dishes. Our favorite was the skirt steak but you honestly cannot go wrong with any of the waygu. They were all so soft and tender. We also ordered some sushi which was surprisingly delicious. Some of the sides we got were the waygu sandwich, waygu tartar, waygu bibimbap, steamed egg, miso soup, cheesy potato, truffle fries, salmon carpaccio, waygu nigiri, and sesame tofu. I really enjoyed the fries, carpaccio, and potato. The sandwich was meh, I definitely don't recommend. Overall, I'll definitely be back. I'm not sure when but I definitely will. I would do research before coming though, in terms of waittimes to avoid peek long wait hours.

Besides the tender meat and ootoro, Top blade is great. All the meats are good but the skirt steak is okay to me since I am not too into chewy meat like this one. Literally tried everything that looks appealing on the menu. From the scallops to the nigiris to the wagyu sandwich, all were a must try Eveyrone had their personal pref but these are mine so I can look back myself: 1. Sirloin steak 2. Top round, top blade 3. Rib finger 4. Brisket

Thought the rain would deter people from coming in but nope, still had a line right out before they opened and I can see why! The food, service, and atmosphere were A5 wagyu grade lol. My sister and I ordered the Diamond tier for $88 since we wanted the full experience and it was DELICIOUSLY SCRUMPTIOUS. The different cuts of meat were all pretty good, but we preferred the wagyu cubes which were soft and fatty along with the short rib that gave a good amount of fat and beef. Side dishes were delish as well. You definitely need the kimchi and salad to cut the fattyness of the cuts. The pineapples they provided were also juicy and sweet and complimented the beef. Only things that I would skip on is probably the beef rice since it just tasted like beef fat with rice lol. Even though this is a barbeque place the seafood they had were all quality seafood. The salmon, lobster tail, and the tuna were soo good and tasted pretty fresh. Service was also quick and courteous. I think within five minutes of being seated we ordered, got our drinks, meats and were already grilling. I think because we sat in the corner right in front of the entrance the waiters had to pass by us all the time and could see when we needed a grill change, refills, or when we were running low on meat. We never really needed to reach out to someone to bring us something and each time they came to the table what we ordered always came within a few minutes (except for the items that needed preparation like the rice & steamed egg). Overall would definitely come back!!! They have subterranean parking in this plaza which was free and even though the place did get smoky at times we didn't come out smelling like smoke. Definitely recommend getting here right when they open.

I've waited almost 4 hours...... 5:30-9:30 i gave up Would never do that again.... totally waste my time. The text msg said your estimate wait time is 1-1.5 hours. Don't let it fool you

I avoid leaving negative reviews nowadays, but in my opinion, Chubby Cattle is simply not good and definitely does not live up to all the 5-star reviews. I hope others can save their money. We got the Gold option. The "A5" wagyu is nothing special and like other reviews have stated, questionable in quality. I came here expecting A5 wagyu because I was craving the wagyu I had in Japan and I was so disappointed. Take a look at the attached pictures. The A5 Wagyu Ootoro slices are literally thinner and smaller than a piece of bacon. The A5 Wagyu Tender Meat has no marbling like real Japanese A5 Wagyu. It genuinely felt like a waste of money and I warned my friends and family not to come here. Additionally, I tried checking in on Yelp for the Ootoro nigiri and the employees told me that I had to write a review first in order to get the free Ootoro nigiri. I'm guessing that's the reason why Chubby Cattle has so many good reviews. I'm pretty sure Yelp flags restaurants if they're aware that they're incentivizing customers in exchange for good reviews. The servers were nice but they randomly came over and started taking over cooking halfway through the meal and then left and didn't try to cook the meats again after that. I was just confused because this isn't like Baekjeong where they cook your meats for you. In general, the meat quality was okay but definitely not worth paying double the price as any other AYCE place. Their appetizers that claim to contain Wagyu also just use cheap cuts of meat. Overall, I would keep your expectations low if you decide to come here.

Wait times are insane food is great. They should let you pay for reservations . I will definitely be back !

I liked the variety of meats. For me, it's the kind of place that is worth trying once. It was a fun experience and I thoroughly enjoyed the meal. However it's not a place that I would eat at regularly, more like a special occasion. It's great value for AYCE at this price. But A5 wagyu is so fatty that I stop enjoying it at a certain point when I've stuffed my face.

Just tried for the first time today and I have to say it lived up to the hype. The food was good. The service was good. Overall a definitely must try. Will definitely return. Came right before the dinner time rush and got table pretty quickly. Normally I hear it's a long wait. Overall great experience.

Finally got to try this place after waiting for the hype to die down. We came on a Saturday at 4pm and were seated after 10 min wait. The dining experience though was frustrating. We're a group of 7 and were seated at a table with one grill that couldn't get hot enough. They had a strictly enforced 70 min time limit so we had to constantly make sure the grill had enough food cooking at all times. I would not recommend coming in a big group unless you're ok being split up. Meat quality is definitely better than most ayce kbbq restaurants. Side dishes like salad, radish, and kimchi are standard. The appetizer was a hit or miss Some worthy mentions: - Corn cheese was so good! It's on the sweeter side but the flavor is a great mix of sweet and salty - Salmon carpaccio was fresh - Wagyu sandwich looked really cool on the menu but it's like a dry burger patty. I'd skip this - Beef tartar was really instagramable but had no flavor - Nigiri: the fish was good but rice was just like normal steamed rice. - Ice cream at the end was really good. We got personal cups of ube and strawberry and they were creamy and flavorful
