Super amazing. Their Japanese pancakes are bomb, but don't sleep on the savory eats like the Chicken Karaage Curry and Tonkatsu Curry - they are a must if you come here! And the Takoyaki was Chef's kiss! This spot is super cute inside, they get super busy! :)

Food was fabulous. The chicken karaage and soufflé pancakes took me back to my trip when I was in Japan. Totally loved it. I will def be coming back to try the other soufflé pancakes.

Souffle pancakes are always on my radar so I made it a point to check out Gram Cafe & Pancakes on a recent trip to Los Angeles. Gram Cafe originated in Osaka in 2014 and within 5 years, they have opened over 60 locations worldwide. The LA location just opened last year. I wanted to get to the popular cafe right at opening, but my sleepyhead son had other ideas. When he finally did wake up, the drive was about an hour because of all the lovely LA traffic. Luckily, you can be added to their waitlist via the Yelp app if you are within 10 miles. When we checked into the restaurant, we were still 5th in line. We then waited (and had a yummy street churro next door) for them to text us when our table was ready. During our wait we decided we were going to share the takoyaki, cheesy gyudon, and the strawberry souffle pancakes. We opted to have the pancakes after our meal, but if you don't like waiting, recommend they serve it to you when it's ready. The food was pretty good, but the souffle pancakes were outstanding! I loved every single bite. We agreed it was the best thing we ate the entire weekend! Service was friendly and efficient. The cafe was bright and clean. Some of the tables are pretty tightly situated, but it was fine. Next time I would probably skip the food and go straight to the pancakes and order a latte.

Services is friendly. Mango Sago Pomelo $18 3-star Presentation is nice. Pancake served quick, and it's not make-to-order. Not as puffy and fragrant doughy as freshly made. Mango and grapefruit crumbles is not so tasty. Mango based sauce is light. Tiny little mango ice cream aside can hardly get mango flavors in it. Regular Latte: $5 1-star I don't list it at all as it's served lukewarm, which is not acceptable to me. How can u screw a coffee item? Latte itself the kicking is not found in my tongue.

Amazing service, the staff were so helpful and nice. The pancakes were delicious and so fluffy. My group of friends order the crème brûlée, Matcha pancakes and popcorn chicken. Oh! I almost forgot the drinks were amazing.

Yummy! I've been a regular at this place since it opened, and it consistently impresses me. The matcha latte stands out as one of the best in the area, and the food never fails to satisfy. The service here is top-notch too--attentive and friendly servers add to the overall experience. The restaurant's decor is casual yet charming, creating a lively and welcoming ambiance, perfect for a delightful brunch experience. However, I must point out that the soufflé pancakes, while initially promising with their sweet and airy texture, can be a bit too eggy for my taste. This might not be to everyone's liking, but if it's your first time here, you might find the flavor enjoyable!

I recently tried fluffy pancakes for the first time, and surprisingly, I enjoyed them, despite not typically being a fan of pancakes. I opted for the original flavor since I don't usually have sweet foods for breakfast. The restaurant was popular, so there was a wait, but joining the waitlist on Yelp beforehand helped. Although we were initially told it would take 30 minutes to an hour for our pancakes to arrive, they surprisingly came out in just 5 minutes. Overall, it was a good experience and ambiance, regardless of the wait time.

The pancakes were absolutely yummy yum yum. We got the strawberry one and the texture was perfect. However I didn't get the strawberry taste I wish. Next time I'll get the original one it comes with three instead of two. The Wagyu beef curry was really yummy and full of flavor but a hamburger patty with Wagyu beef doesn't do it for me. The next time I'll get the chicken karaage curry. If I get Wagyu I want to be able to have it melt in my mouth.

I got the egg benedict, which was served over a pancake. It tasted so bland and dry. I also tried the original pancake which was slightly better but definitely not worth 2 hour wait (1 hour for the table and 45 min for the food) and $20 per item. The waiters were very nice.

We want to have food and desserts so we went to check this place out. Chicken karaage 5/5 Original pancake 5/5 so fluffy Tonkatsu curry 3/5 the pork is too chewy and the rice is hard but the curry tastes good. I would go there again to try more dishes. Parking is easy and plenty. The wait can be long but yelp waiting list helps.

My family and I (2 kids one 6 year old and one 2 year old) arrived at the restaurant and got seated pretty quickly. To start off this place is already pretty small and narrow. We had asked for a high chair for our 2 year old but they didn't have any available. There was only 1 other child in the restaurant so that must mean they had only 1 high chair for an entire restaurant. Already starting out a little iffy but we'll give em a chance. We ordered our food, an order of the Creme Brûlée pancakes and an order of Chicken Karaage dish. This whole time waiting we never got an update on our food so we just waited. Our pancakes came out which was good. But we were waiting for our other dish for our kids to eat. 10, 15, 20, 30 minutes go by and still no food. Not one server came to check up on us. At this point the 2 year old is at his wits end so he wants to go outside and run around. My wife goes up to the server and asks them where our food is. The server she asked said he doesn't know because he just got there so he asked another server. They said that it had already come out. They can clearly see that there was no chicken on the table and that we were just sitting there for 30 minutes. They didn't say apologize or anything. No remorse or empathy. We paid for our pancakes and left. The manager didn't even come out to say sorry or offer us anything (even though I don't really care for free stuff). All in all a pretty bad service experience. The pancakes were decent but nothing to really come back to. I wish this place was better because we were really excited to try it.
