I came on a Friday 20 minutes before closing. There was no line. They weren't out of anything. They still had products on the shelf. I got their Portuguese tart and their egg tart. I came in because it was on Instagram that there were lines out the door after thru were featured on Netflix. I mean, the egg tarts were good. I was turned off by the dark, burnt crusts. But biting into the tarts, you can't taste it. The egg filling was cooked just right. The flaky layers were very good. Was it the best I've ever had? No. It's comparable to most dim sum places I've been to. So, I happen to driving in the area but would I drive an hour to come here specially for these tarts, no. Service was fine. It wasn't great. The place is very small. You have to grab and go. There's no hanging around here.

Came here for Brothers Sun. Have to disagree with their summary though. Sumerry bakery has better options. However it's not taking away the great options here. Just not as much :)

After seeing the long lines every time I pass by this bakery .... I decided to see what the hype was about. I visited around lunch time on a Sunday and surprise surprise NO line! I am a sucker for fruit tarts so I got one of those and their staple egg tarts. The crust on both the tarts was soft and crispy. It was flaky and delicious. The inside custard in both tarts was thick creamy and custardy. The fruit was really fresh and ripe as I bit in. The cashier was friendly, the place was neat and tidy. The tarts were totally worth the hype! But I won't be waiting in line. Super grateful to have been able to walk in and out with delicious goodies. This place was also featured on the tv series Warrior.

Probably the best Portuguese egg tarts I've ever had in my life. Very fluffy and not too sweet. It melts in your mouth. Eat them while it's still warm for the best experience.

The Portuguese tarts and egg tarts were good - not too sweet and the crust was on point. The line can get kinda long, though it moves quick if folks aren't dilly-dallying. Inside is a bit snug since they blocked off some space. Charging for a box seems a bit... silly. How else are you supposed to carry those tarts if they don't individually wrap them? Plus, the credit card minimum of $16 is a bit much. Solid tarts, but those quirks need addressing.

Wow. Do not pass this gem by. Tucked away in a plaza in San Gabriel valley is a Chinese bakery with some deliciously crafted and reasonably priced treats.Do not sleep on the po tarts. If you only get one thing, get these. Deliciously fluffy and smooth egg custard is nestled in some of the flakiest softest pastry dough I’ve had. Ours were fresh out of the oven, which made them taste incredible. Be warned though - they can run out. If you really want to lock some down, you can special order ahead of time.I would also highly recommend the taro delight, which is a ball of taro paste housed in a swirl of purple dough. Then pastry was light - and the filling was light, smooth and not too sweet. We also enjoyed the napoleon, flaky pastry lightly layered with walnuts and some sort of cream layered in. The pork floss bun was interesting, a fluffy roll with a sweet pork coating. Next time I would be interested to try more of their savory offerings as well. They also make beautiful cakes and fruit tarts to order as well. The interior is small and simple, with only one table as an option for seating so the shop is more of just a place to grab your goods as opposed to sitting for a while. I would highly recommend to stop in to experience the goodness!!Parking: The parking lot is very busy on the weekend

I tried the egg tart. A Friend gave me one and it was the most delicious dessert I have ever ate. I am definitely going on my own now. I'm exited to see what other goodies they have...

Best portuguese egg tarts in town, by far. Others look the same. But the ones here have buttery, flaky crust and delicate, not overly-sweet, smooth custard. Sometimes they sell out, so go early. Good curry puffs as well, when they are hot out if the oven.
