Came here to OK Cafe 3 months ago it was great but as of week of 7/02/23 according to pic by another reviewer, the cafe is temporarily closed for renovations per notice on the door ( in Chinese via Google Translate). Today 7/17/23 Cafe is still temporarily closed for renovations per my pics as well.

The food is good and gives me those old style cafe vibes. But the service here isn’t always good. You either have so so, or terrible where they don’t give you your water or menus and just make you wait doing nothing while you’re trying to flag someone down. They also haven’t input their phone number down so I can’t even do pick up.

Not a really good place to eat later at night. I got the club sandwich with fries. The fries were soggy and the sandwich was anemic. Hai Nan chicken and rice not very good. Will definitely look somewhere else to eat at next time in the area.

The waitress there with blonde hair and a unicorn tattoo on her arm circled the tip on my receipt I ignored it because tips aren't mandatory. And when I was about to leave she asked if I was going to put the tip on the table. So I thought it was mandatory, and I asked a male waiter with black hair if it was and he replied with a yes. Then when I googled if mandatory tips were legal it said no. I am never going there again they basically committed a crime. I am a college student and I am saving up money for transport, food, and money. I took the bus to 24 hour fitness since it was already paid for the year and the school tap card makes the bus free. I can't believe they took advantage of my naivete. If I could report it as a time I would. I came in around 7:00 p.m.

We stopped by to eat dinner before heading over to the movie theatre to see The Menu. We ordered the promos that they offer plus beer for two dollars. The only two beers are Budweiser and Bud Lite. I had the Hainan chicken with rice and I was surprised at the amount of food which I could have easily shared. Our waiter was great and the food was good but needed more seasoning to it.

This review was also written when I was starving from the plane ride into LAX but every item that we ordered was delicious. We ordered the beef chow fun, honey walnut shrimp, and fried rice for takeout to bring back to our hotel. Each dish was hot and there was plenty of food to share between five people. Our options were very limited given we arrived at 8pm and our hotel was on Rosemead. This was one of the very few dining options that opened past 9pm.

More than just OK! Prices are reasonable and the portions were pretty generous. Definitely hits the spot if you're craving some HK style food. I really like the beef chow and minced beef over rice.

Will never go back. Dishes came out cold and the meat and rice are flavorless, Tasted like frozen dinner. Baked rice came out in less than 5 minutes. They are premade and not fresh baked. Ordered a dessert drink, asked for a cup of water but it never arrive. And the waitress made a mess when emptying the dishes (rice splashed out) when didn't we leave yet. So rude and I don't think she even knows that she dirtied my jaceket. Food used to be better a few years ago. And menu changed. I didn't see soup on the menu now.

There have been so many OK Cafe's all over SGV throughout the decades. This location is in the large MPK Atlantic Plaza. I ordered to go. Food was ready as quoted. Typical large HK style cafe menu. Grilled Chicken Steak - $16.68 - Chicken was decent. Came with spaghetti. Portion was as expected. Hainan Chicken Rice - $12.98 - Chicken was flavorless. Rice was supposed to be like the chicken broth but also had no flavor and was super greasy. Not good at all. Would rather go to JJ's.

Just as the name implies...OK. It has all the same foods that you would find at any cafe in the 626. The food portion I think is a little small and the taste of the food is..ok. Some items on the menu are cheaper than at some of the other cafes. There are a good number of waiters so they do come over when you call them. Because like most cafes the servers don't speak english, its hard to ask for certain chili's or condiments. Overall, its on par with other chinese cafes.

The food and service is OK, nothing really stood out but the quality is always very consistent. Been here several times, always not crowded. We're able to get seated right away every time which is great when you don't feel like waiting with the dim sum crowd. The vibe and decor is modern, clean and bright. Seems like a good place to get Hong Kong style cafe food and catch up with friends and family since it is very relaxed or laid back without being rushed. This Hong Kong style cafe does not offer any breakfast set or menu. When they open it starts with their lunch or regular menu. So if you are looking for Hong Kong style breakfast deals or set this is not it. The menu options are extensive so you should be able to find all the usual Hong Kong style cafe food to soothe any cravings. Portions always hit the spot, and tend to come quite fast which is great when you are hungry.Parking: Underground parking, handicapped parking also available. Elevator access from parking to all the floors.

The food here is pretty good and they have a steak with the hot metal skillet that is spot on delicious. The portion sizes are also decent and the service is good. The downside to this place is the lack of cleanliness. I was having breakfast here and when the waiter moved a cart, I noticed baby roaches. Needless to say I won't be returning because of there are roaches in the dining area, chances are there are roaches in the kitchen.

Came here late. 1hr left before they closed. They quickly seated us. They let us know they were out of wontons for the night. We ordered some soup noodles and porridge. This stuff is usually cooked in giant vats pretty much, and usually they have them ready to go pretty quick in most places, but we had to wait 15 minutes at least. It did taste pretty good though.I appreciate them for being open as late as they are, but food prep was slower than expected. Nice decor though. I think they removed some tables and chairs since the pandemic. Place feels more spacious (or maybe it was the fact that I was here before they closed, and there was barely anyone around).

The perfect 3.5 star Chinese restaurant. Any cantonese dish you want and would be able to get in Hong Kong you can get here. The service is... as good as you will get from a Cantonese restaurant, but the flavors are authentic. With cantonese dramas playing in the background and a restaurant interior that looks exactly like the ones you'll find in Asia... definitely worth a visit. Also prices are reasonable.
