Portions are big, but food is salty, and so is the waitstaff. All the other reviews about servers being rude and condescending are spot on. They were out of the dish I went there to order, as they have been out of random items the last 2 or 3 times I have gone. Seating is awkward as is the vibe in general. They asked us to leave because there was a long line. This was the final straw after trying to like this place a few times. Choose somewhere else to get Italian.

Here from out of town. The BEST meatball/artichoke dish. The spaghetti was chefs kiss and the Ceasar salad was even exceptional. Wish we lived here !!!

We've been here four times and never had the ribeye steak.The first time they told me it was the last one that was sold to the table next to me.The second time they told me I came too late and they were already sold out.The third time they told me they only serve dinner.The fourth time they told me that their steaks are only for members and they are fully booked early in the morning.I don't know if they don't want to serve us or if they think their hunger marketing is smart? Does it really make sense? Anyway I won't come again! Feel cheated.

I hate when I see bad reviews about a place born of the ignorance of the reviewer. I have read bad reviews about this place because it's cash only which is like plastered everywhere so get over yourself complainy pantsuit! Good food and good service, I've only ever gotten take out but I always have a wine when I wait. Different host / same server have helped me but alllll of them have been great! Edit - stopped going here because I felt discrimination by the owner, bypassed me and my partner who were waiting to be sat to sit some blondes who just walked in (who he apparently knew) all the more reason to give service to paying customers.

If your a dave portnoy fan then this is the spot for ya. If you truly want a ny style pie..only talking about a cheese pie. As I don't care for toppings. They got that wood fire oven..can't say anything other than quality is the best I've had. Price was relatively low 15$ for a large og cheese. (Comes with 8 large slices)This is the spot if you need that crust and prefer thin crust style. Hands down best go to pizza spot in the sgv. Must tryIf you like chain pizza then idk what to yell you, this pizza is different.

Good enough?Prices are not bad for what you're reading. The vibe is divey and the food inst extraordinary but for it's price point, I'm very happy with it . The pasta was not home made but they still tasted good. Nothing was over or under cooked. The pizzas are the star here. Which have a great flavor from the wood burning oven. Service was strange. Some of these people have been here for years so there are no actual issues in their service set up. However our coked out ex rock band singer of a server was definitely on something. Look, I'm fine with weird humor and a little bit of casual speech, but you shouldn't have to ask your server for water, then ask another one to get it. Then ask for straws three separate times. But the worst was when we ordered another pizza..... After about 20 minutes, our server checks in and we ask about the pizza and he said he will check. He never returns. Then later another server checks in and comes back to tell us that they're working on it but just backed up on phone orders. Then.... The host checks in and returns to tell us they're working on it just backed up. So we tell the host that if the pizza is on the rail but not currently being worked on, we would like to cancel but if it's being actually worked on, I'll take it to go. He returns with the check with pizza canceled. So logic assumes the pizza was not actually being worked on yet, that's cool right?Not according to our server with a few extra energy bumps. He holds the check in his hand with our cash and said "your pizza is being worked on, do you still want your pizza? I can put it in a to go box" and I told him "is it actually being worked on because it was cancelled." And he decides to walk away but not without loudly saying "you're not the only fucking pizza they're making"I still left a very generous tip because cocaine addiction is expensive.
