Came here on 04/10/22 Sunday at 5:30pm and it's closed. Looks like they are no longer in business.

We decided to try Tasty Garden for lunch because it was across the street from our hotel and we were limited on time. We ordered potstickers, wonton noodle soup, and mapo tofu. The food was good. There were 8 potstickers for almost $12. The soup came in a large bowl, a good portion ($15) and the mapo tofu was also a good portion for $12. The tofu entree did not come with rice. A $1 for a bowl of rice. The potstickers did not come with any sauce. There were no soy sauce, salt & pepper, hot sauce, vinegar or any other condiments on the table. The service was okay. The waitress was friendly. She was the only one in the dining room. She played hostess, busgirl, waitress, and cashier. The restaurant had about 20 tables. A bit too much for one person. Although, only two tables were occupied.

I use to go here quite often back in the days but haven't been here until today for lunch. Had the Hainan Chicken and Singapore Fried Noodles. The Hainan Chicken was the worst I've ever had.... Just like a over boiled dry chicken and green veggies that not for typical dish. Rice was blend with some type sauce that's not legit. Noodles was ok taste but quite moist which is not typical of this dish. Both portions are small for the price which was $15 for rice chicken dish and noodles was $14 bucks. Service was average. since they've changed ownership a while back this restaurant has been disappointment to go to. I won't go back and understand why traffic has slowed down unfortunately.

Bought the $24 for $30 Groupon Deal for this restaurant, but didn't know they updated the menu and had increased the price; the average item price was $15+ Ordered 4 items for Togo, it only took about 10-15 minutes. The salty fish fried rice tasted yummy, Salt & Pepper Porkchop can be less oily and more pepper. We also ordered the traditionally HongKong style porkchop/chick steak combo plate, it usually came with soup and Hong Kong style spaghetti when dining in. But sadly, we did not get these two side dishes in the to-go. I was sad; as the HK Spaghetti was the best part of the combo meal. Service was good, the lady was very patient and friendly.

This review is for the TAKE OUT portion of this restaurant. But as an FYI - the dine-in seating is nice and pretty with fairly medium-dim lighting and spacious seating from one another. They had all the workers wearing masks and there was plenty of big pump of hand sanitizers at the counter (end of February). I ordered takeout to avoid the crowd. Using the food apps my order was ready way before the time I said I'd pick this up -- soooo this made my food not as warm as I'd want not as fresh as it could have been. ** 3 CUP CHICKEN -- I wouldn't order again. This is not the usual style of 3 cup chicken and they throw in bell peppers which is overpowering the usual flavors of the 3 ingredients. Also, WAY TOO SALTY. This gets 2-3 stars. :( ***\* MAYO WALNUT SHRIMPS - the shrimps were quite large and lots of batter made them look even bigger. The walnuts were crispy and sweet but a bit soggy because of the moisture inside the takeout box. The Mayo and level of sweetness was not overwhelming so it was OK. This was a 3-3.5 stars dish. ***\* FILET MIGNON with MUSHROOMS - I enjoyed the mushrooms added for the extra $1 to give this dish a lift. But then again, the flavors were not as strong and authentic as I recall them to be. This was still one of the better dishes where the meat isn't overcooked. This gets a solid 3.5 stars. Price wise each of these dishes were average $20, which is pricey for takeout that average. This 3.5 gets rounded to a 4 star bc Yelp doesn't do half stars :) FYI. If you park underground (free parking in big lot under the shopping plaza) and you take the stairs in the middle of the lot - you could technically find yourself in a solitary hallway past electrical doors, but if you follow the exit signs and you have a sense of direction, you will find yourself right outside of 24 Hour Fotness which is right next to the restaurant!! :)

Used to like this place...Came here for lunch on a weekend. We were one of the few tables there. Service was pretty much non existent. The menu are paper take out which you mark yourself but they recycle old ones with other people's writing on it. Then we had to bring the menu to the bar area to let the waitress there know what we want to order. At no time did they ask us what we wanted to drink. Food came. We ordered some basic stuff like pan fried noodles with beef, Singapore pan fried noodles, and baked pork chop rice... taste is so bland. The fried noodles were on the cold side... Don't think will go there again.

It's been a while since I found Hong Kong Cafe where they served this baked pork chop with tomato sauce. Their Chicken/porkchop steak menu is also good. The baked pork chop with cream sauce however is not good, kind of blend. But the biggest problem is maybe not the restaurant itself, but the server. The server unfortunately, did not give us a receipt after we are done eating. He just told us the amount that was owed to us. The amount is correct, but I just have suspicion that the server was trying to pocket the money himself instead of reporting the income to the owner. Or maybe he is trying to avoid paying taxes. Either way this is dishonest and kind of left a bitter feeling for me.

The service here was non-existent. We were ignored the whole time, we had to wave our hand to get their attention to place our order and he didn't bring us the drinks we ordered. Food was salty af and we tried asking for water and never received it. And as I was signing the receipt for payment, sever came over and snatched the receipt from under me as I was still signing! Rude! Not worth the trip.

The quality of this place changed so much. The staffs are horrible and the food was not good. Do not waste your time here. Will never come back.

I loved coming here until today. Maybe its the Covid keeping customers away and bugs in, but roach in my food!! Did not even see it until I was almost done with my meal. Truly disgusting

Ordered spicy eggplant, French cut filet mignon, salt and pepper pork chops, fillet fish with black bean sauce. Everything was pretty good except the pork chops were not as big and juicy as i thought. Service is mediocre and friendliness is not on their menu. We ordered to go and the food was packed and ready for pick up when we got there with no problems redeeming the groupon. With the Groupon discount, it wasn't such a bad deal.

Came by around 11AM for breakfast on Christmas. It was pretty empty so we got seated immediately. You can scan the QR code to order on your phone or mark the paper menus they provide and give it to the waiter. They provide warm/boiled water for your table (Chinese elders love this). The porridge with pork and preserved egg was pretty standard, a Chinese breakfast staple. Came in a pretty large bowl so it could serve like 5-6 bowls. The beef chao fen was honestly so delicious - my favorite that we ordered. It was just super flavorful and the meat was nice and tender. I found myself just scarfing this down. The Singapore fried rice noodles were also pretty good (my mom's favorite!). Had some good flavor and we loved the shrimp. It was all done pretty well. This was all a perfect amount of food for three people - we finished everything. Overall, a pretty decent place. Not sure why the reviews are so low but from what we ordered, the food was pretty good and good serving sizes with decent prices. There was only one lady running the food and taking the orders, but it was fine. The menu is also HUGE so there's plenty to pick from. We had a great experience so I would honestly recommend this place, especially since it doesn't seem to be nearly as packed as the places around it.

I really enjoyed the orange chicken and the crispy calamari appetizer. The XO garlic sauce was very tasty but I would have preferred it with a fully peeled shrimp rather than a fried whole shrimp. They offer many tofu dishes and I would love to try the XO sauce on fried tofu. The atmosphere was spaced out with large windows in a beautiful mixed use building with condos above. Ample parking Subterranean with an elevator

I can't believe how bad the service is . I gave them another chance to see if it got better but it got worse . I just took a party of 12 people to eat and spend almost $300 , took almost an hour to get our food and then we place another order and took another 30 minutes . I get it if their were busy but there was only other 2 tables with 4 customers. The cook the eating in the back while we were waiting for our food and the waitress on the phone the whole time we were there . On top of that they have some cojones to ask for 20% tip when all we got was a horrible experience and customer service . Never again .

They need better service here food was great but the way the 'waiter' attended me and my friend was horrible. He paid 100% attention to the Asian costumers and 0 to usNever coming back.
