WATCH OUT for TO-GO order. I ordered bbq plate with bbq pork and bbq spareribs. I found out I got 4 pieces of bbq spareribs. 4 pieces only. Did I order a kids meal or that was how they did for a restaurant business? They definitely did it in purpose. Very expensive with very small portions. Very bad experience ever.

**CUSTOMERS BEWARE: CREDIT CARD SCAM/FRAUD AT THIS RESTAURANT** I went here with my husband on 3/19/22 since he likes to support new small businesses and he was craving Chinese food. We ordered the shredded pork Szechuan style, the beef with bitter melon, honey glazed shrimp w/ walnuts, and the sliced pork with taro pot. Everything came out fine, the food was okay. I actually prefer may mei restaurant for their clay pot rice & Cantonese food. HOWEVER, although the food was fine, the main issue happened at the end of the meal. We received our bill for a total of $57.99, and my husband put his credit card down. Our server Tom took our credit card bill and gave it to a young man who was in charge of the cashier. We were waiting for almost about 30 MINUTES until we received our credit card back. My husband and I were getting restless because it was taking forever, and restaurants are pretty prompt with returning a bill for signature once it has been paid for. KEEP IN MIND, the restaurant was NOT busy so we had no idea what was going on in the back. The cashier side was also hidden behind a wall so nobody could see what was going on. We kept asking Tom, our server, what the delay was for, but he had no idea since someone else was handling the cashier. Moments later after leaving the restaurant, my husband received a FRAUD solutions text from Visa, asking if we authorized an Amazon Prime payment. We did not. We later surmised that the reason why they held our credit card for so long was because they were USING IT to pay for random s**** CUSTOMERS BEWARE OF THIS. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS THEY ARE EXTREMELY UNTRUSTWORTHY AND I HAVE ALREADY REPORTED THIS TO AUTHORITIES.

This restaurant is stupid and ridiculous. So this man did not give me a bigger table. We have 8 people. He should've gave us a bigger table. He has no good customer service.

Very down to earth Cantonese comfort food. Many selections at reasonable prices. Worth trying.

Mom wanted to try this restaurant, located very close to the 10 West Freeway entrance on Rosemead Blvd. It's a very big restaurant but it was 2:50pm on a Saturday right before CNY so probably everyone was busy preparing for dinner at home already, very empty inside, we were the only other party at that time. The seats were comfortable with some nice cushion. Dried Tofu Skin Floating Skin Napa Cabbage Pot: A- Just looking at the name of the dish, I wouldn't have expected that a very large portion of the dish was made up of varieties of pig organs - pig liver, stomach, skin etc, all tasted pretty good. Napa cabbage was sweet, and the fish egg absorbed all the sauce from the pot and tasted good too. Fire Grilled Chicken with Red Tofu Sauce: A+ Very nicely made chicken dish! A must get dish! The texture of the chicken was one of the best I have had, the cooking time was very well-controlled that the chicken meat was super juicy and moist, and the red tofu sauce was not too heavy yet added lots of flavor to the chicken. Pan Fried Tofu Stuffed in Fish Paste: B+ It was not bad, sauce was quite tasty but not very interesting, the tofu was slightly crispy on the outside. Overall, I would go back just for the chicken dish alone!

Their signature chicken is pretty good, but their special lunch is like a kid's meal size, so just order from their regular meal. Service was below average, not worth more than 10% tip.

So I just called and got blown off like I wasn't anything important. I understand this used to be a vegan restaurant. But come on. Don't just blow off a potential customer. I called to ask. And guy kept saying thank you bye bye. Like I wasn't interested in their menu. I'm not vegan but my girlfriend is. But because that man blew me off like that and made me feel small like I was unimportant over a simple question. I feel the need to write this based on that disrespect.

We came here right at 11. I was worried about the crowd. We were here for the deep fried eggs with sweet and sour sauce. The food came out at about 1130. The restaurant is almost full by 12. The food didn't disappoint. We also ordered the sweet pancake. It was good. The portion size is big for me. So we had plenty of left over. Will be back for sure

Very traditional Cantonese mom & pop restaurant! The food is yummy! The price is reasonable! I definitely will come back!

This restaurant's menu is a little on the pricey side. Once the food arrives, the quality of the cooking plus the nice food portion certainly justify the prices I paid. Across the board in almost all Chinese restaurants, prices have gone up by at least 20%. I walked away with my tummy full of delicious food and looking forward to my next visit. They have many speciality dishes, not offered elsewhere. There is a good crowd and many fake out orders! Thumbs up!

This place is a hidden gem. Very authentic Cantonese cuisine. The price is reasonable and the service is great. I will definitely go back to support local business.

It should be a upper-scale bbq seafood restaurant. Unfortunately, the quality of the food was not so good. bbq pork taste ok. Never had the yellowish charsiu glaze. Braised I-men noodle was a joke (I don't think they are using the right kind of noodle) Fried calamari in pepper salt was not crispy. We canceled the wonton noodle soup because the wonton tasted rancid. The noodle was either overcooked or acquired some lousy one. They need to replace their noodle supplier.

Usually never write reviews so you can tell how bad this experience was. We placed an order and were told to wait in our car. After 45 mins we went in to check for our order and they told us to continue waiting. We finally got our food after AN HOUR AND A HALF. Upon leaving we asked them to confirm that they gave us rice, and they said yes. When we got home and started opening up the boxes, they did not disappoint by forgetting the rice. Every Asian family's nightmare...no rice

Great mom-and-pop Chinese/Cantonese restaurant! Ordered a dry style beef chow fun for lunch and it was delicious, packed with lots of flavor! My family who is pretty picky when it comes to eating out also ordered different noodle soups and they loved them! I would definitely come back to try out more dishes.

We decided to try this place out since we were in the area. We ordered 5 dishes and OMG! Everything was delicious! Literally everything! And service was good! I will definitely come back to try other dishes..
