Giving this little wine bar 4 stars for the great vibes! We walked in on a Wednesday, which happened to be bingo night (with some hilarious puns interspersed in between). There were two tasting flight options available, both priced at $20 for 5 wines. Our standouts were the 2020 Dog & Pony Trousseau and 2020 Dog & Pony Il Rinnegato. IMO this wine bar is unique, carrying some lesser seen single grape varietals like carignane and negrette. Definitely worth checking out if you're in the area!

The tasting room is adorable & they have done a great job with their seating packages. This location is smaller, so attending with a group of 2-3 would be recommended. The tastings are excellently priced & the pours are generous. The wines are very good. My opinion is they excel in their reds, but they do have a sparkling white wine that is really well done. The tasting itself took upwards of 2 hours, which is too long. There was an expectation (from reviews on Yelp) that staff was going to be warm & inviting, etc. Unfortunately, our group was met with quite the opposite from the moment we walked in. Hospitality can be tough. I would recommend the Pinot Noir & their Syrah.

I was a member at Hahn winery in Carmel and they sold. So I needed a new go-to winery. I had meet Lindsay through Hahn. Lindsay is always super friendly and up beat. She goes above and beyond for her customers, makes them feel comfortable, and makes sure they are happy. I never feel rushed out either which so nice to relax and drink my wine. My favorite thing about Lindsay is she definitely knows her wine AND what wine you like! So easy showing up and she just pours me what I like or says "here try this one I think you'll like it." It's always spot on, awesome job! She'll also remember all of your dogs and give them lots of love. She is now the new manager at Comanche so of course I just had to follow her! She's the reason I come to this winery now :) and I'm glad I did! Comanche is a small boutique winery right in the middle of downtown Monterey. It's a convenient location for me. This is a great place to meet up with your girlfriends to do a tasting or grab a glass! The hours are great for a winery especially on the weekends they are open late until 9pm. I love that they do a happy hour ($10 a glass Tuesday-Thursday from 4-7pm) Also really love that you can order sushi from next door and they bring it to you plated and all. Ask Lindsay for her recommendations on what to get, 10 out of 10 thank you for that! So enjoyable drinking your wine while getting the restaurant experience as well. Overall, Lindsay has made this place fun and exciting with all the new events that she plans! One of my favorites so far, Bingo on Wednesday's at 6pm. Super bummed I missed the holiday party but heard it was a blast. Looking forward to attending more events. Cheers

Visited this boutique wine bar twice, on 11/3/2023 decided to give it a try, had heard wonderful things about the place. The tasting fee is very reasonable and the pours are generous, the staff very welcoming and friendly, we had Lindsay and she seemed very knowledgeable about the wines and area, when we mentioned dinner, she suggested the sushi place next door, she went out of her way to bring us a menu and place the order and the food was br5ought over o the wine bar!! A great experience, loved it!! On 12/18/23, got tickets to their ugly sweater and dumpling party, it was so much fun, wine and dumplings we4re yummy and even had some dumplings to take home!! I will definitely be back. Thanks to the staff especially Lindsay.

I didn't feel she was very friendly or knowledgeable about the wine or the area. Made me uncomfortable-- like I was bothering her when she wanted to talk with her own friends and drink her own glass of wine. This happened on 2 different occasions so...

Great experience. Sitting outside whilst tasting an excellent flight of wines. Good varietal selection, generous pours. Recommended weekend afternoon activity (weekdays it opens a bit later). Relaxed, unrushed service. The location downtown is wonderful as well.

Love this place! Small and boutique with great servers. I walked in and didn't want to spend anything ridiculous for a tasting. So $20 for 5? Yes please. Add the yelp voucher and it was only $10. This place is popular understandably! The snacks are also delish. I got a cheese and charcuterie board to pair. Get this, I was waiting to eat next door for some sushi. They are partners and you can bring wine next door but they delivered my food over to the wine bar! No wait for me! I would def go back. They also have a pet nat- prob my fav.

My husband and I had a great time here. We sat outside, had great wine, and people watched. Comanche has a large selection of wines, ones you don't see at many tasting rooms. The staff here are wonderful. They know their wines and are very welcoming. We'll be back.

Nice spot for a tasting of several wines! The service was a little slow with a smaller staff, but they were incredibly friendly and knowledgeable! Will definitely come back the next time we are in Monterey!

This is the perfect spot to stop by and do an indoor wine tasting. The whole staff is very welcoming and friendly.I got today's flight and a charcuterie board and had one of the best wine experiences. They are pet friendly! The prices are great! I recommend stopping by if you're in the area; they also accept walk-ins!I'll definitely be coming back!

Wine was great, also got a charcuterie board with excellent cheeses. Staff was unfriendly however, and seemed bored and uninterested in us. Would definitely go back to get wine, but you can tell the staff would rather be anywhere else but there.
