So glad my boyfriend and I stopped in! Not only was the food good but the service was great. I can’t Evan his name but he made us feel welcomed and very attentive. Ever gave us recommendations of things to do. Definitely will come back. As COVID-19 health orders are in place they were spacing everything out, much better then the surrounding restaurants.

After walking around and everything was an hour or more wait. We came here. They seated us right away. Friendly workers, nice atmosphere and food was cooked perfect!!! Thank you

Excellent ribs! My picky son kept raving about them as he was eating. The fish and chips were delicious!!! The chowder in a bread bowl--to die for!! Everything was delicious! Great service!!

We tried this place over Memorial Day weekend 2020 when pandemic restrictions were still in place. The health order was allowing restaurants to serve take away only so we ordered our meal and went across the street to enjoy it in the plaza. We shared the cod bites and french fries for a light lunch and was about expected for fried food. The bites were a generous portion and the pieces were more like two or three bites. I liked them because they weren't overly greasy but I thought they were a bit bland. The fries were steak fry wedges and ya know, just fries. We actually had left over cod bites and used them for fish tacos the next night. We noticed they had a seating area in the back and will give this place another try when we can get inside to enjoy the atmosphere. The staff were friendly so we definitely want to give them another try. #aintthatamericaadventures.com

We had high hopes that this restaurant would turn out a little better than some previous reviews but alas... ...this was such a huge opportunity for this restaurant to shine as a thank you to the people frequenting it but... Three of us ordered three meals and cocktails from a table at the entrance. We are always looking for ways to support businesses who are still serving during covid so we lined up, waited patiently, enjoying the company of the other people lined up, and ordered. Mind you we were there between 3:00 and 4:00 in the afternoon so there was no crazy lunch or dinner rush they had to deal with. Just about 10-15 people at a time waiting. And we were so hungry by then that we would have been pretty happy with so-so food. However... The staff was friendly enough but looked a little stressed. The food came out with minimal napkins or condiments and the cocktails were poorly made and scarcely anything was in the cups they served them in. I watched my friend's face trying to enjoy his $11 lemon drop which was pretty much that, a drop, and cracked up at his expressions over how bad it tasted. Two of us had ordered the fish bites and one person ordered the chicken sandwich. Now the fish itself was cooked fine but there was absolutely ZERO flavor. They don't even salt the breading. We choked down the fish bites after soaking them with what little tartar sauce, one packet of salt and malted vinegar was provided. Even that wasn't enough to flavor it. We had even ordered an extra side of fries in addition to the side that came with one of the meals, which filled a whole to go container, were super thick and dry, and they gave us two tiny ketchup packets -- two. All meals are to-go now and there's no seating so we left, otherwise we might have gone back and asked for seasoning. But we didn't know until it was too late. The point I hope to make (and I hope the restaurant powers-that-be read this) is that when people are lined up to support you and you have reduced your full menu to a single page, make the effort to deliver a good product. The prices didn't go down but the ability to sit down and enjoy the meal did. So please at least season the breading you use on your fish n chips and fish bites. And please provide what's needed to the customer so that they can enjoy what they patron you for. It costs next to nothing but would go a long way. Had the opportunity to serve this supportive community been taken, we would have been customers for life. Unfortunately, this was our first and last visit. Wishing you well and I hope Coopers grows into an unbeatable place from the collective customer feedback. "John E., owner" replies to people who have left truly helpful feedback over and over about how the restaurant could easily improve and yet months and months have gone by and it's the same. Unfortunate. Your customers are your lifeline for longevity and success. Please don't reply to me with the same responses you've given other customers who went out of their way to give detailed accounts of their experiences only to have it ignored.

The waiters were ok but but food was so terrible that I cannot give this place more than 1 star. The chicken piccata sauce was bland tasteless, the calamari was soggy, we had to send back because it was very fishy tasting (we were not try to get sick) and and bangers and mash were cool (temperature). I do not recommend this establishment.

Great English pub with an assortment of local beers. If possible try their pot pies, they are amazing!

I and friends stopped by for some drinks. Bartender Mark is highly knowledgable and really funny. Ask about the local area. Great beers are to be found here. Sorry did not try the food

We popped in here for lunch and beer and wine. We had the Calamari steak dinner with fresh sauteed vegetables and a salad instead of potatoes. The Calamari steak came with a wonderful lemon and caper sauce with chopped Roma tomatoes. It was cooked perfectly, tender and tasty. I loved the vegetables and the salad was a good size. The house Chardonnay was exceptionally good and it was a full pour. They tell the best fish-and-chips around but we didn't do that. I would definitely come back.
