Incredible and accommodating service! Just enough food that we didn't have to bother with takeout. Definitely better than Dennys! I recommend this place for some old school grandma comfort food. Sweet people too!

We go here for breakfast frequently. The food meets my partners expectations which are high and the service is reasonable considering it is usually one gal that handles the entire restaurant. Outdoor seating is nice but service outside is a bit more challenging. We feel comfortable and just ask if we need something.Parking: There is a small lot for parking but space also on the street most of the time.

This is my boyfriend and I's favorite place around here for breakfast. The service is consistently generous and accommodating. I feel welcomed every-time I walk in. It really feels like grandmas house. The love for owls is shown throughout the place with lots of cute owl themed art works. It makes me feel like I'm at a cute grandmas cozy cabin. It's also very quiet and low key which I've always appreciated. I've never had the anxiety or overwhelm feeling of morning brunch after church at a super busy diner- it's a relaxing and kind atmosphere. There are busy days but some days I walk in as the second or third person in the room. Don't ever let that deter you though- The food is comforting and beautifully home made tasting. Personally it's the taste I look for in breakfast food. My favorite is the chicken fried steak. It is quiet the best I've tried so far around seaside/monterey area. It's very moist and the amount of white gravy used it perfect. They do a breakfast and lunch style I believe. The options of food are great and each dish tastes like lots of love! I've never left food on my plate after visiting. I love grandmas kitchen and will always support this little gem

This is one of the eating joints which should not be missed when you’re in Monterey. We felt like we’re at home being pampered by our loving aunt. And on top of excellent service the food was delicious. Presentation and flavor are all top notch. I even missed to click a photo ???♂️And when you’re there do not miss all those owl figures. Loved the food and the experience,I’ll definitely go there again.

Great place for a family breakfast?My daughter wanted to celebrate her 20th Birthday in Monterey and we stopped in the next day for breakfast. The staff are very nice, my brother asked for them to sing to her and they did giving her a Birthday biscuit. It was very sweet that they did that and she was Totally surprised!We will definitely stop in again if we were in the area.Thank you to the ladies for making our visit memorable and to the cook for making it tasty ?Parking: A little spars but their service and nearby businesses make up for it.
