The food is absolutely amazing, especially for the price. I haven't been able to find a better quesabirria taco in Monterey. The service is always very friendly, they're more stand-off-ish so if you don't like casual dining this might not be your place to go. They're very nice though. They ALWAYS have good music playing. There aren't a whole lot of tables so be cautious about visiting while they're busy. Fortunately this is a great to-go meal! I highly recommend this restaurant to any resident or traveler alike!

In town to visit aquarium and came in to try. Asada and Al pastor tacos were good. Little dry but plenty of meat. Asked the waiter for recommendation for meat for burrito. Was the worst part. A very soggy because of the pico. The burrito was not pleasant. Only positive side of burrito was the amount of meat inside. The cup of water they give you is very little also. Waiter never refilled the water. So pros. Tacos are good. Cons, burritos are not good and service was bad.

A hidden gem a few blocks walking distance from downtown Monterey. We had a variety of tacos (shrimp, fish, chicken, and beef) and they were all excellent. The variety of salsas were outstanding too. As the cherry on top, they have complementary chips and salsa!

Definitely the best Mexican restaurant in Monterey county. Their surf n turf burrito is so good, but honestly anything from their menu is great. Getting hungry for their food writing this. Please do yourself a favor and go here:)

Wonderful service and great food! We stopped in for a quick lunch and did not expect the food to be so good, it's the best Mexican food we've had in a while. The prices were very affordable, portions were big and the service was fast & friendly. Highly recommend!!

No frills restaurant but the food was amazing! We only got tacos: quesabirria, jeezy shrimp, fish, Al pastor and carne. They were all delicious and well priced. You get chips and salsa too if you do dine in.
