I have gone to lala ocean grill several times and enjoyed their food and drinks. But it was sad today. Ordered a lala dirty martini and it was suppose to have stuffed blue cheese olives and it have the regular ones. The server never checked in on us I had to call her over to get another drink. Then hovered when were getting ready to pay.

Great place! Spotlessly clean, modern vibe, view from the big windows can't be beatService was friendly, fast and efficient.The food was great, if you go you have to try the blue cheese steak bites. Wow. Clam chowder was also goodWe both had salads, hers a wedge, me a salmon Mediterranean salad, they were both delicious.We will definitely go back on our next trip to Monterey

A bit of a tourist trap. Food was fine, but for these prices was grossly underwhelming. Overcooked pasta with excessively doused pesto, over fried chicken tenders that were obviously from frozen, and somewhat stale wontons with the ceviche.

No MSG No Garlic Foodie
This was our first night at Pacific Grove, we had been driving all day and didn't want to drive around looking for a restaurant and a parking space. Walking around gave us the chance to stop and consider menus and check out the area. In 15 minutes, we were plunged into a busy tourist area which was kind of a shock from quite Pacific Grove. Lalla Grilled Oceanside appealed to us, and we were fortunate to get a booth. They have an extensive menu. I decided on Chicken Cutlet. The server understood my need to avoid garlic, but warned that the breading already has garlic powder. We also ordered clam chowder and Lalla Style crab cakes. To my delight, after placing the order, the kitchen decided to make me a fresh chicken cutlet without any garlic – yay! For desert, we ordered key lime pie. The food was delicious, the booth comfortable, and the service was perfect. It was an enjoyable experience.

First time dining here and will definitely go back when I visit Monterey Bay again. The service and food were amazing! My daughter had a burger and strawberry lemonade, while I had the halibut tacos and non-alcoholic beer. We got a window seat and loved the ocean view!
Ordered a Crab Louie and a Seafood salad, room service for lunch... Ooooooh Doggy.. and the cheese crusted flat bread was killer...

Jose was rude to me and my girlfriend. We arrived to eat a few days ago and he messed up our order and our drinks had hair in them and by the time we received our food it was cold and said he couldn’t reheat it.

RUDE RUDE DISRESPECTFUL !!!!!!The host Jose was unbelievable. He was very rude when my sister was getting proposed to down at the beach. My family like any other would want to take pictures to witness this once in a lifetime moment and Jose the RUDE host asked us to sit down because they needed the ONE table we were surrounding. THERE WERE 5 open tables in the mean time!!!! Thank to Jose we almost MISSED!!! our sisters proposal!!!
