There food is AMAZING and clean and full of the best poke flavors BUT a huge huge problem they're making is they're NEVER OPEN!!!!!! I dont have time calling to see if someone's open everytime and half the time they arent even though their hours say they ARE. I believe it's a family business but you HAVE TO HIRE MORE EMPLOYEES this place is making such a huge business mistake by never being open and then closed on days they're supposed to be open. Do you need help? I would be more than happy to help and work there. I hate when amazing restaurants struggle. Plz fix the employee issue so we can enjoy this amazing place everyday!

Based on great reviews we decided to visit. Opening time both on yelp, google and even their own web page was until 7.30pm on sunday. We arrived at 7pm and found only closed door with a paper on them saying that for fall season they are open only til 4pm, but their other location (12 miles away) is open later. Great! Even better would be to put this information online.

Awesome poke bowl. May favorite in the area thus far. They also gave me a complimentary scoop of crab which was so nice and some of the ingredients like seaweed salad was not extra like elsewhere. Loved the owner and his son.

Was excited to find this gem on yelp. Amidst the touristy options in Monterrey, this is a place for delicious poke. It appears as if a father and son own or manage this place and the older gentleman was incredibly lovely, helpful and made great recommendations. I got the regular size which includes 3 fish, toppings, sauce and a base. I got the brown rice with tuna, spicy tuna and imitation crab. He said the spicy scallops were good which I will have to try when I come back. He took the tuna on the side and mixed it with cucumber and onion making it even more delicious. I was able to pick from a number of toppings and a sauce-I went with edamame, seaweed and crispy wonton(I think?) and spicy miso sauce. They have a number of other options for toppings and sauces as well. They also have some delish drink options -flavored iced teas and juices. After you order and pay there is seating both upstairs and downstairs. I loved the poke bowl. Everything was super fresh and delicious. Go to the other spots for the views-come here for delicious and fresh poke.
Food tasted good, but the old man (owner?) made some mistakes - I learned after I paid for my meal & tipped him $5 that he charged me for a large poke, not regular size (3 scoops) that I ordered and he put on my plate. I didn't want to fight over the $$, I was ok vacation and didn't want to ruin it; I recommend you pay attention to what you're being charged.

Passed by this place on Cannery Row while visiting the aquarium a few weeks back but wasn't able to try. Came by today while we were back in town and was determined to stop in. Being from Guam, we've been looking for good Poke places and this is definitely one of them! Prices are very reasonable, maybe even cheap, for some for the amount you get. We ordered a Chicken Teriyaki bowl, a regular poke bowl, and a large poke bowl. Everything was amazing! Fish was fresh, salad was fresh, all around delicious! I think it's a father-son run business which is a plus for me since I love & appreciate family owned businesses so much! They were super friendly and accommodating plus offered a military discount! We will definitely be repeat customers when in this area.
