We were traveling and wanted to get some food we could eat on the go, the salad selection was a little sparse considering it was only about 2:00 in the afternoon, but we made due. I decided to get some crackers and try a new cheese since their selection of artisanal cheese was really good, I wasn't disappointed with my choice. The produce was all fresh, we got a couple of apples, and hubby got some Bananas. In all we were pleased, but not quite all it was hyped up to be and a little on the expensive side.

Although there are good people working here there are some bad attitudes that can spoil your experience. Miguel is one of them. He was condescending and belligerent. Perhaps Trader Joes might be a better option in this town. Whole foods is usually one of my favorite places.

booked a holiday meal. received a notice to arrive at a specific time .arrived exactly on time . was told to stand at some small tables, with other customers, no social distancing .one wasn't even wearing a mask .asked if there was alternative . snippy clerk said no. Another employee suggested i wait in my car. did that . after only a few minutes , was buzzed back . person handling my food also not masked . i lived in Asia during SARs , MERs and the first four months of COVID . Harvard reports #1 place to catch Covid : grocery store. and in Sars and Mers we learned that queuing in lines, for more than 12 minutes also is a super spreader. Double whammy . the long snaking double back line at Whole Foods is CLEARLY unsafe .as is unmasked food handlers and waiting in lines . stay away . go elsewhere, save lives

We were so happy to find Whole Foods while visiting Monterey. We were able to purchase fresh fruits and snacks for our hotel room as well as grab a quick bite from their in store fresh buffet.

When I am hostessing an Open House, I love to drop by for goodies to share. Such beautiful, bountiful products to choose from. A feast for the eyes and nose! Of course, I treat myself to lunch too! Expensive high quality food is so delicious.After surviving college as a hard working poor student, it still haunts me to spend so much. We can afford it now, but it is hard to break old habits. Enjoy life!
Rather than go out to eat for every meal, we purchased prepared food from this store. They have a very impressive prepared food department.

Very convenient to our hotel, the Mariposa. Lots of great healthy options for snacks and drinks. We could easily walk and there is a salad and food bar which is more reasonably priced than a lot of restaurants.
