I ordered the Hot Mess combo with onion rings. Also got the Treatin Myself Melt (cheesecake and strawberry sandwich made with cornbread). Everything was hot and delicious. That dessert is amazing. If it's supposedly a Denny's then they are renting kitchen space which isn't anything new. Times are tough and reducing overhead doesn't affect the quality of this particular food. Live a little and enjoy a good quality melt.

Not only did they get my order wrong, they are misleading with their name. This is a Dennys. $40 for two sandwiches which were made wrong and two missing drinks. Over cooked food that was so hard it was inedible. We asked for over easy. This is NOT over easy. Do not be fooled with this place.

Our server was very friendly and helpful. It was not busy. It was on the way to our hotel. Food was plentiful and good. Prices are great.

We went to Denny's for a number of reasons.... We had not been to a Denny's for several decades. We found the location in Monterey very convenient to our hotel. Other options for breakfast were not available. That noted, the staff are friendly, and the place clean. Distancing with indoor seating is OK, not great, when it is busy. Portions are generous. I was disappointed that oatmeal was not an option (perhaps I was naive to think so). The pancakes were good, but the syrup was not real maple syrup. The eggs were good, but the sausage was a bit bland.
