Americano was Starbucks burnt. La Marzocco is wasted. Sandwiches were good.

A Mixed Experience at Tidal Coffee: Scenic Views, Limited Menu Options, and Parking PredicamentsMy visit to Tidal Coffee left me with mixed feelings. Sunday at 10 am, I was met with a bustling atmosphere, indicating its popularity. However, disappointment struck when I discovered that many items from their menu were unavailable, with only three salted options amidst a sea of sweets.Despite the limited selection, the outdoor seating area boasted a picturesque ocean view and a charming water fountain, making it an enticing spot to enjoy a cup of coffee. However, the presence of persistent birds eyeing my meal added a challenge to the dining experience, but it’s ok I love birds.Additionally, parking proved to be a mixed bag. While the availability was decent, at $1.50 per hour at the meter, the ever-watchful ticket guy kept patrons on their toes, reminding us not to forget to pay.In summary, Tidal Coffee offers a scenic ambiance and a bustling atmosphere, but improvements are needed in menu availability, bird control, and parking convenience to fully enhance the customer experience.

The latte was great, the service was even better. Friendly and the whole place just had good vibes.Went back a second time a different day for another latte and got a breakfast sandwich as well, which was better than I was expecting. Overall fantastic place to grab coffee and a quick bite to eat.I also appreciate that they sell ollipops, which I hadn't seen in any other shops drink racks on Cannery Row.

It's hard to get great coffee anywhere in the world unless your in Italy, certain parts of France and a few other places. America is no exception. Most coffee is very average or at times worse. This is not the case at Tidal Coffee. The best coffee I have had in the three weeks I've been in California. Well worth a visit if your passionate about your coffee. At very reasonable prices. Also a very relaxing place with great views across the harbour and a nice outside seating area to sit in the sun.

Espresso is super weak and the cappuccino was not made well- ie: think airy soap in a cup with a touch of weak coffee.

The tea was tempting. There was a lot of marketing for it. The menu described the flavor profile and how it would affect your mood. The spring jade tea boosts mental clarity and is restorative. The bergamot black earl grey tea elevates concentration and is revitalizing. Then the grand crimson english breakfast tea sharpens focus and rejuvenates. It was a bit awkward because I wanted the spring jade to boost my mental clarity, but instead of being restored, I would have liked to be rejuvenated. I wonder if I could have asked for the spring jade without the restorative properties and asked them to add the rejuvenating ingredients instead. Anyway, I ended up getting a black coffee and it felt rejuvenating.

Location is amazing. I was hoping for a more cozy coastal vibe. It felt more of an aspiring Starbucks. There weren’t any specialty drinks posted, very simple menu. Unfortunately, my husband didn’t find anything lactose-intolerant friendly.Dietary restrictions: They need more vegan or dairy free options

Definitely very good, and an amazing plaza right outside to enjoy, but can't help but feel like it's a little overpriced and underwhelming compared to a couple other more notable coffee spots in town. The vibe is uptight and uninspired, which might be preferable to moneyed tourists staying along expensive Cannery Row hotels or something, but I'd typically prefer a less expensive cup elsewhere. All that said, it's certainly not bad! Just so happens that Monterey is a great town for coffee, and Tidal lacks the fun rotating and inventive options as well as the cozy charm that so many other places offer.

I love flavored lattes but sometimes they can be too sweet. Tidal has creative lattes with absolutely perfect flavor/sweetness balance. Also their ham n cheese croissant is Delicious. But get there early as it sells out.

We stopped here because the sign in the window said they had soup. Unfortunately, they had discontinued it.

In a nook where the coffee brews bold and the ambiance sings, lies a spot that's a tad pricey but offers wonderful things. It's a place where the baristas greet you by name, and the lattes are artful, each one just the same. Though the prices may nudge a wee bit above cheap, the experience you get makes it worth the leap. With beans sourced ethically, roasted to perfection, every sip feels like a warm, cozy connection. So, if you're willing to pay a little more dough, you'll find a café where the best vibes flow. It's a haven for those who value quality and grace, where each visit feels like a warm embrace.
