I was in the neighborhood, so I thought I’d give this place a try. The atmosphere was low-key and it’s a nice breakfast environment. I was surprised to see how much more the entire menu costs were compared to the pictures of the menu on a review site. It’s worth noting that Jarro’s Café doesn’t have their own website, much less any kind of a menu posted. So, all that’s available in that regard are just customer photos of the menu… regardless of how old they might be. I’m posting menu pics with this review that are effective as of the date this is posted.I ordered the eggs benedict, which was all of OK. I’ve had better. Where Jarro’s shines particularly bright is their service. The waiter was incredibly gracious and welcoming, and always kept my drinks filled. It seems to me that there’s potential here to elevate the restaurant to the next level. If Jarro’s Café put their menu online (including updating it), as well as kick up the meal quality a notch, I’d be happy to re-review and increase stars as warranted.

Went to this new place even after reading some very bad reviews but most good, so decided to give it a try , well it wasn't good, the workers look like high school kids who have no people or se service skills at all the hamburgers where ok but not worth $15, my son got union rings and I got fries which where dry and we asked for ranch to dip in our frys and union rings and they only brought us one small cup with don't give youre dry food some life or taste, no free refill from what it looks so we went to 711 for some big gulps we where super thirsty from the dry food, which by the way don't come with napkins, the place can have potential I can see this restaurant on a t.v show restaurant rescue for reals. Never going back

I like Jarros but I went this morning for Eggs Benedict . I got only one egg over two pieces of muffin and I'm not sure if there is actual hollandaise or just busted egg yolk. It's hard to accept this as their best when it's nearly twice the price as before and looks like this ?

A great family owned and operated business, great service, delicious and consistent food. Need to make this place a regular staple!

This place is great! Jarro's is family owned and run. They are so warm and friendly. The food is just perfect! I came for lunch and had the fire burger which was awesome (not too spicy). I can't wait to go back and get some breakfast.

Excellent lunch today. We have previously gone for breakfast. I love the chiliquiles and the asada wrap. Really excellent, fresh food.

This place is over rated. The food does look good, but the taste fall short. I took my family to eat here because the reviews and the food pictures look good. We had a burger, a chicken sandwich, a wet burrito and a stack of pancakes. The pancakes where thin, we're upsidedown and just didn't deliver. For the price, they should have been better. The burrito size was above average except the taste was bland. My son's didn't like his burger nor did I, it was nothing special. My son ordered a got chocolate, the presentation was good. Taste wise, it had no flavor, probably made with water and powder cocoa. Was supposed to have whipped cream, but they didn't have any. Delivered it without it, told us after the fact. The only thing that was ok was my wife's chicken sandwich. I'd never come back nor recommend this place. Most disappointing.

Delicious cafe de olla. I had the Chile verde omelette, it was good. The tots are pretty amazing, don't know why. Possibly the fact that they're crisp, but truly the star of the show is the cafe de olla. I don't live in the area but definitely make the trip.

This place gets crowded on the weekend, but the service is fast. The food is great and large portions. Best part is the tater tots. They have delicious cinnamon coffee as well.

This was an absolute waste of time and money. The fried chicken and waffle was dryer than the Sahara desert with 0 seasoning i would have to dip the chicken in my water just to get some moisture to the chicken. So I told them to take it back and get my chicken fried steak. That was no Bueno as well. Don't waste your time coming here. I had to smother everything in gravey to get Any flavor.

First time here, and it was such a pleasant experience. We were greeted warmly, with service continuing to be on point until we left. We had the chorizo omelet and the soup/sandwich combo. My boyfriend chose the albondiga soup and BLT. Everything we ate was good with large portions. Warning: If you're sensitive to spice, the albondiga brought the heat. I personally enjoy heat but don't typically find it in albondiga soup. It's a small cafe, but the warmth of the place makes it feel larger. Will come back again, since I work down the street, to try their cafe de Jolla.

Wow, this place exceeded our expectations. We wanted to find a place that would serve breakfast a little later, then mini cafés offer. They're open daily from 8 to 3, so this fit the bill. Speaking of the bill I gotta tell you it wasn't so bad good prices and amazing portions plus the presentation was extraordinary. Hubby had the amazing French toast I ordered the Chili Verde omelette .We were eyeing each other's meal, so we ended up splitting both-We will be back to try everything else that looked delicious on the menu as well-
