Just called in and ordered a custom pizza from Jax for delivery. It's been a while since I had a pizza from there and I was so happy I did I'm going to be ordering pizza from there for now on! It was fresh and hot upon delivery and driver was super friendly and we are enjoying every bite!!! Thank you for a yummy dinner tonight!

Under new management, food is amazing and a great staff. Variety of Beers and Seltzers with 13 on tap. Daily lunch specials as well as Happy Hour. Highly recommend Jax in Moorpark.

Terrible experience. Only one girl working in the whole place. Felt sorry for her actually. Taking orders, answering the phone orders, making the pizzas. I used to enjoy this place. They used to have a great salad bar. Now, not very good at all. The soda fountain was not working for no carbonation. The ice machine not working. Had to drink warm uncarbonated soda. They had no change in the drawer, had to wait for a few more customers to pay with cash before receiving change. Lettuce was wilted and very few item available to add to my salad.Thought it was over priced for the quality, and will now go to Pizza man Dan's. I do not see Jax's Pizza staying open too much longer unless they get it together.

The one star is for........ ? We ordered a pizza for takeout. One other couple in the restaurant. The new? Guy didn't know how to cut pizza and practiced on ours . We asked for thin crust. We get home the crust is so thin it can't hold the toppings! We eat it with a fork. (Picture below). Not good pizza. Very disappointing.

I got there early and waited for the pizza I had ordered online . One guy answering phone didn't greet me . One guy making pizza was enjoying a loud happy conversation on FaceTime. He Asked me a question after a few minutes but didn't wait for my answer or get my name before ignoring me again. A lady came out after 10 minutes of waiting and finally got my pizzas which were dry as hell . I thought they would be bubbling hot , they weren't , so I guess they had been sitting there . A family of 5 came in and looked in the arcade which was off , TV was off so they left without ordering. And I'm down 55 bucks. For a large and individual size.

.... depressing? The clear vibe of a dive, No posted menu at all, dirty walls and floors, broken empty machines and wires here and there, no sound but employees arguing in Spanish, wilted salad bar, soda fountain was flat with low syrup and no ice. The pizza was undercooked and the chicken was dry to the point of basically being jerky chunks and they didn't keep them to one side as requested for the vegetarian in our group. I'd say avoid.

I gave 4 stars because of what keeps happening when we order using "Slice" app . Tonight I ordered 3 pizzas for pick up , I waited until it said it was ready for pickup , we drove down and got there 10 minutes later than the pick up time , I walked in and she asked for my name. She walked away and never came back nor did she let me know what was going on . She had to come up front when a customer came in to pick up & she didn't say a word until I had waited 22 minutes , she said "2 more minutes " - I thought to myself, those 2 more minutes were actuallt 37 minutes I've waited for my pizza . The pizza finally came out and I asked her "what happened" this was almost 55 minutes later . She said there's other people who ordered pizza and I said , I ordered off your app ; she pretty much said there's other people before us and she didn't know why their app tells people their pizza is ready. This is the 2nd time this has happened with pick up. I just said , oh ok ‍. They ask you to use their app , when you do it doesn't apparently tell them you've actually placed an order - so I'd suggest calling to confirm after. The pizza was very good !

By far the worst pizza I've had since elementary school... because this tastes like cafeteria pizza. It's most likely made with frozen dough. This place is very expensive. Save yourself 20 bucks and just go to 7/11 if you're in the mood for horrible pizza.

Jax used to be my favorite pizza place but it seems to have gone downhill since the last time I came. I came in on a Saturday afternoon and the place was completely empty and silent. There were no tvs on or no music playing. It was silent. Terrible ambiance. A bit overpriced if you ask me. Paid over $45 for 2 small pizzas (2 toppings), salad bar, drink, and 10 wings. The buffalo wings were pretty dry. Salad bar seemed to have been sitting out for a while as the lettuce was wilted and brown and the olives tasted a bit funny. Pizza was nothing special. On top of all that, the service was terrible. The girl at the register was no help in ordering and kind of rude actually. I felt bad that she was there working alone, however we (two people) were the only customers in there so it was not even busy enough for her to be overwhelmed. Overall bad experience. Will definitely not be coming back.

Chose this place cuz of 4 stars on Yelp. Was going to Wood Ranch but decided to give my money to a family business. Walked in and the place was dead. I was the only person there in a Sunday afternoon. All TVs were off. Pics on Yelp showed a lively place but later noticed the pics are from 5-8 years ago. Ordered wings. Not good. Not fully cooked. Bbq sauce was horrible. Had a soda and the ice machine was empty. Service was ok. There was only 1 person there who did everything ... waitress, cooked my wings, washed dishes answered phones. Felt bad for her as she tried her best. Wish the place was better. Should have gotten to WR for better wings and better experience.

I thought the pizza was ok a bit small for a large and $28 a bit expensive for me the young lady that delivered it was terrific

Horrible food and even worse service. They burnt our pizza and didn’t give any sauces that we paid for. I called, they put me on hold, then hung up on me after waiting for 8 minutes. I called again, was out on hold, then hung up on. Finally I called and they disconnected their phones. The worst pizza I’ve ever had and their service was shameful. It was also not cheap. Never going again and you shouldn’t either.

Their open sign is on but their doors are closed. Not sure what kind of business they are running

The most disgusting, burnt pizza with shameful service. We ordered a large and costly order, and our extra large pizza was burnt and dried out. It was so dry the sauce dried out and it was inedible. I called to let them know and kindly ask for a partial refund for the pizza that was inedible, and I was placed on hold for 8 minutes before they hung up on me. I called back, was placed on hold, then hung up on. I called back again, and the phones were disconnected. I don't know what kind of business they are running but it's absolutely embarrassing how they treat customers. I will never go there again and advise you to go other places. There are many other great pizza places in the area with staff that doesn't dodge your calls when they burn your expensive pizza and treat customers so poorly.
